Great Service, Ok Food. We took our kids to Benihana's last night for dinner. My husband, daughter and I all have August birthdays and we joined the Chef's Table club, so he and I both received $30 each to spend on dinner. My daughter got a free Buddha mug.

Our kids think it's the coolest place on planet Earth. Our chef, Rogelio, was tons of fun. He made lots of cheesy jokes that our kids thought were hilarious.

We loved the soup and salad. The ginger dressing was super, and even my daughter, who hates onions, loved the onion soup. The fried rice was just ok for me. My husband and I both ordered the Rocky's Choice entree, and neither of us were very impressed with it. My filet was quite overcooked, and we both said that our meat lacked flavor.

But we ended on a great note with green tea, ice cream and a picture to remember the evening by.

This is a great place to celebrate your birthday and a great place to bring kids, but I don't know that we would go back if it wasn't our birthdays. Our bill would have been $82 if not for both of our coupons, and that seems pretty high to me considering that the meat - the highlight of the meal - was not all that.

But next August, we'll definitely all go back. Our kids will make sure of that.

Love that Shrimp Sauce!. The experience of having your food prepared table side is fun, and the chefs add to the experience by throwing food and cutlery around without missing a beat. The fried rice is exceptional - try not to be seated in last seat at table or you may get shorted on the amount of rice you receive!

Lunch menus are about 1/2 the price of dinner menus, and are nearly identical except for the onion soup and shrimp appetizer. If you drink green tea, this is served with your meal where as other soft drinks are extra. I would say once you've experienced Benihana, you'll certainly want to go back time and time again. Wonderful restaurant, wonderful food!
