Best meal ever!.
I have been to Heidis twice now, and each time the food and wine have been outstanding. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgable, and the menu choices are so creative and sophisticated. I will be back!

Award-winning couple (pastry chef and head chef) serve up fine-dining bistro fare in South Minnie. Pastry chef Heidi Woodman and head chef Stewart Woodman have created a fine-dining neighborhood bistro that's as welcoming and warm as it is exquisite and gourmet. The restaurant is small--fewer than ten tables make up the cozy space decked out in gold, marbleized wall and cold-thwarting fabrics in South Minneapolis. So if you’re going on a weekend evening, be sure to make a reservation. And be prepared to spend the better part of your evening here. The wine, the entrees, the cheese plates and the expertly crafted desserts are worth savoring.
Don't waste your money.
For the $, the food, atmosphere and the service were not at all what was expected (below average). Someone had read a good review and recommended we try it. There are so many excellent little restaurants around there is no need to waste your money here. Campiello, Arezzo, Cosmos, Biella, Luci's are all much better and don't cost any more. Nice try, but we will not be back.
Excellent food; service suspect.
The primary restaurant experience is all about the food and wine. From this perspective I would highly recommend this restaurant. However the atmosphere and service need some attention.
