HORRIBLE SERVICE. The hostess was rude, she sat us at a table that had dirty dishes on it, when the place was EMPTY! The waitress acted as if she might have been drugged up. She had to ask a couple times how we wanted a steak cooked, and then we get the steak cooked WRONG! We then ordered drinks and about TWENTY MINUTES later she comes back to the table to ask me what kind of drink I wanted. I then have to wait another FIFTEEN MINUTES to get my drink!

Games were fun, drinks were good when we got them. Will NEVER go and have dinner there, but a great place to play games and get drinks from the bar!

The Clampett's came to Dave & Buster's. I spend about 180 nights in a motel and when I am in a city that has a Dave & Buster's I like to stop and shoot some pool. When I got to this location I was surprised and very disapointed to find out that they had 3 of their 5 pool tables being used as dinner tables! One of the other pool tables was being used and the other one couldn't be used because the people eating off the pool table next to it had their chairs so close you wouldn't be able to shoot. How damn ridiculous! I am surprised they weren't using the cue sticks as "pot passers" like the Clampetts in the Beverly Hillbillies. I WON'T BE BACK!!!! I guess the pool players are not important.

Best first date. I went on a blind date at dave and busters in maple grove. I got there early and started a tab at the bar, then walked around the place. That way I didn't look lost in front of my date. The bartenders were very helpful when it came to buying power cards, and when my date arrived they suggested a great drink for her to try. It was nice because we weren't hungry right away so we were able to leave a tab open at the bar and play games for a while. When we came back to eat the bar was starting to fill up(which just happened to be the bartenders name, ironic). Fillup made sure we had a great dinner and suggested the salmon, it was incredible! When we were done eating we decided to play more games. Dave and busters made this one of the smoothest dates I have been on.

Great atmosphere, crowded, fun for the kids and adults. After reading the reviews on here, I'm a little suprised, since I've always had a great experience at Dave and Busters. Yes, the salmon is served medium, like a steak, since it's "sushi grade" as my server (and the bold print on the menu) stated. No they don't let parites have a table until 75% of them are there, but suppose you owned an establishment and people would come in, take up a table for 20, and then only 10 would end up showing up? The restaurant can't seat other people, and you take up space for hours on end, and then let your kids run wild in the game area while you sit at the table.

I've always liked the food, but don't go to a restauarant on a busy night (Thursday-Sunday a.m.) and expect your food in 2 minutes and instant seating. Your out because it's Friday, a holiday etc, and SO IS EVERYONE ELSE. When your quoted a time, it's when they expect the other people to get up, the hosts are not fortune tellers. As for the minor policy, what if the kid you were with had to be brought back toyour table because you wern't with him and you wern't told about the policy? But all that aside, my food has always been fresh and good, and to order (I change everything I order), and has never taken more than 20 minutes.

Bottome line, it's a bar, it's an arcade, but with better food. Don't expect a quiet evening or Chuck E Cheese, if you want quiet go to a quiet place to eat. Since when are arcades quiet?????? And the heading above is wrong, they don't serve pizza, and don't have two bars at this location.

Dave and Busters a bust !. My third trip to this Fun place is my last. I was served raw Salmon, overcharged by 60 dollars, then after review 30 dollars, then in the end of the bill Fiasco, I was undercharged 10 dollars, and the other tab in our group was stuck with the 10 dollars. All the food was bad, my Daughter threw up her burger, and my final overcooked salmon made me ill. The worst dining experiance ever...............

Fun Place but needs improvement. October 21, 2007 Sunday night we went to Dave and Busters as a family night for my youngest son's 20th Birthday. We walked in and the Bar area was not full but the design was really tight with chairs and the bar, not a lot of walking area. the T.V.'s were all above the bar but at an angle where you had to sit funny in your chair to watch the football game on. The we walked into the game area and the noise they had pumped in there was actually really to loud. It blasts you out till you get adjusted to it. Once you wonder thru all the games and lights you find a machine to buy a card to load with money so you can play in the adult arcade. We played a bunch of different games, but the noice level seemed to be increased even though there were maybe 20 people in the whole room playing games. They made it sound like there were 100's of people in there. I realize they need to make it seem fun but each machine was drowning out the machine next to it. We did the bowling and the horse racing next to me was so loud I couldn't even talk to the person standing next to me. It was fun to go in and see, and the prices weren't bad, but this location needs to figure it out. The people coming there do like to talk, heck this is Minnesota so the need to measure the sound a bit. Winters coming and people do like to do things indoors, so make this place nice to be at. Not sure if will go back...maybe if really bored this winter.

WORST customer service EVER!!. I used to live in Denver where they have two Dave & Busters, so when I found out that Minneapolis was finally getting one I was pretty excited! I have visited the Dave & Busters in Maple Grove three times and have been disappointed each time. The first time I went we waited 45 minutes for a table when we were told it would only take 10 minutes. Once we were seated our server gave us the cold shoulder and acted like they didn't want to even wait on us. Assuming we just had bad luck that day, we returned again a few weeks later to find the SAME horrible service. We felt completely ignored by our server and had random charges on our bill of items we DID NOT order. There were other tables around us complaining about the same bad service! The last time I went I brought my younger cousin who was 20 and visiting from out of town. The front door man repremanded me right away and told me that, "I needed to keep an eye on my young guest in case they get in trouble." I'm 35 years old and trying to entertain a member of my family and this guy acted like we just escaped out of juvenile hall!! We ate dinner and when we were finishing our server spilled sauce all over my expensive coat. It was an accident but she didn't offer to pay for dry cleaning or offer anything for that matter!! The manager came to my table and asked if I wanted him to try and wash the sauce off my coat with soda---are you kidding me??!! I have spent money at this establishment in hopes of my visits to become better but I will guarantee I will NOT come back again. Please do NOT waste your time coming here!

Bad Customer Service - Don't plan a party there - they won't take reservations and won't give you a table untless 75% of your party is there. It was my daughters birthday and she wanted to try this restaurant. I called ahead to make reservations and they did not accept them. I arrived at the restaurant early to ensure I got a table for my party of 13. I was told they would not seat me unless 75% of my party was there. I explained the situation and was still told no. I then had to wait until 9 people showed up and by that time there were no tables left. Management told me we could all sit in the TV room at separate tables. Unacceptable. I told the Manager I would leave and go somewhere else and he said "Well, that is your choice". I went to Granite City and received impeccable service. If you have a group of people, this is not the place for you!

A festive atmosphere with incredible food. My singles club visited the new Dave and Buster's this Wednesday night. For a weeknight the place was packed and it didn't take long to figure out why. While we waited for a table people tried several of the creative drinks off the drinks menu which not only met with great approval, but the happy hour prices bordered on the unbelievable. When we did get our table we all opted for the "power combo" which included a steak entree and a $10 game card for just $20. I personally had the teriyaki steak and it made me want to have steak for dinner every night. Then we were off to the game floor. A lot of the games seemed to be standard fare for modern arcades with at least half of them dedicated to winning tickets. However for the number of tickets you could win, and the quality of the prizes they offered, it was a better deal that most similar operations offer. The place is part of some new construction on the SE corner of Hemlock and Elm Creek which a lot of map programs won't yet give you directions for, but it is worth seeking out.

Super-sized party multiplex for casual diners and serious drinkers who like a joystick with their drumsticks and swizzle sticks.. In Short
This massive entertainment complex lures customers in with its arcade, then keeps them there by way of a spacious eatery serving pizza, pasta, burgers and finger food. Classic games like billiards, skeeball and shuffleboard are balanced by electronic counterpoints such as Ms. Pac-Man, Centipede and virtual-reality simulators that re-create an 18-wheeler ride or a Star Trek voyage. Of the two full bars, one comes with a 20-screen videodome designed for armchair quarterbacks.
