Northeast Thai restaurant known for its spicy curries.. This Northeast Thai restaurant might be known for its spicy red and green curries, but its interior is the color of sweet candy. Deep reds, sky blues, bubble-gum purples and sunshine yellows make the walls look like they’re decorated in Sprees as red-chile-infused dishes that go well beyond “Minnesota hot” decorate wooden tables. White spheres of light hang down like sugar drops; and stand-up drink menus outlined in neon pinks are like readable tabletop roses. In fact, it’s like a Thai dish come to life, sweet, spicy and loaded with bright colors. And unlike a handful of Thai restaurants in town, its menu of curry, sticky rice, noodle and curry dishes focuses on freshness and uniqueness instead of an over-extensive offering that can never measure up to promises.
