We had a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious, but we agreed the sweet potato dish with the duck was outstanding. Service was attentive without being intrusive, just the way we like it. We used the Groupon deal and ended up with plenty of food for a dinner the next night - a happy reason to not cook! We'll be back for sure.

The happy hour selection is one of the best in the area. I highly suggest the thai lettuce wraps or the justa sliders. They have a great beer selection too, they incorporate some micros that are delicious. They are located close enough to Calhoun Square that you avoid the disastrous uptown traffic but are still in walking distance to enjoy what uptown has to offer!

love the food!. We go here about 2-3 times a month and have not had a bad meal food and the french toast is ridiculously tastey! I had one of their "create your own bloody Mary's" -Delicious!

JUST WHAT UPTOWN/LAKES AREA NEEDED!!!. We went to Urban Eatery tonight for dinner. This place has a great Vibe, It felt warm & Comfy. We split a couple of bottles of wine and shared a few items from the dinner menu. For starters we had the smoked duck nachos, Asian pork sliders and onion rings. The walleye was great and the pizzas were a huge hit. Food was AMAZING and it was a great value. Also great prices on wines by the bottle. Free Valet was a FANTASTIC. Will be back for SURE.

Fresh and Unique! BEST new restaurant in Uptown!. Urban Eatery (what used to be the View in the Calhoun Beach Club) is an AMAZING new spot in Uptown. The atmosphere is casual/comfortable-very welcoming and friendly. I've been there both for happy hour and dinner and the food is WONDERFUL! Everything tasted so fresh! I've tried a few things on the menu including the Asian Pork Sliders (DELICIOUS!) Goat Cheese/Pepperoni Pizza, Duck Nachos, and the Veggie Burger(YUM!) I'd order it all again! The menu has a nice variety of options and the prices were very reasonable (I'd say around $8-$15 as an average meal price). They have a nice wine selection, with great bottle prices. I definitely think this is exactly what Uptown has needed...a fun, casual, American Eatery. And they have the best patio overlooking Lake Calhoun! They also have FREE valet parking which was a nice added touch. Definitely would recommend this and will for sure be back!!
