We just had our kitchen installed and the counter tops look great. Everyone we worked with at Pacific Granite were very friendly and knowledgeable. Best price in town...two thumbs up here!
Bottom line first, find someones else. Customer service is absolutely horrendous. A fine man named Steve called my wife and myself dumb and kept saying DUH. Is that what you want to deal with. We cancelled our order after being told we could only pick granite from their back room. Steve said, "what do you think? You think you get to pick granite and we install what you want?" Yeah that's what I thought. We had 70 sq. ft. to install which takes one slab and a third. We were then told there was an up charge for the 1/3 slab of 400 dollars because it was under 40 sq. ft. Needless to say we went to 6 other fabricators each of whom let us pick our slabs with no up charge. We actually picked our two exact slabs and since we got such a good deal at TC Granite we went ahead and ordered our bathrooms. Night and day between every other place we went. Heed the warnings and save yourself time and aggravation and go elsewhere. Two thumbs way down. YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DELIGHTED CONSUMER: I had a great experience with Pacific Granite. I was a "walk in" at the Eagan office and was approached by knowledgable, helpful staff. There was no pressure and the setting was very casual. I was able to choose my own granite from the back, (it was so great being able to see them work on the granite!) make the measuring appointment and the install date all at the same time.
The installers were on time and very professional. They answered all my questions and recommended some great cleaner for the granite. I was "waffling" between two pieces and went with the cheaper option (it went better in the room I wanted it in) and was originally charged for the more expensive option. I called and they corrected the mistake the same day I called them. Loved, loved Pacific Granite and will use again when I redo my kitchen AND master bath! Go in and judge for yourself - This was my first granite purchase and I am extremely pleased. They are busy busy busy for a reason!
Pacific Granite: Consumer Stay Away – My experience with Pacific Granite was very negative. It took them 3 times to install our granite countertop correctly. Our kitchen cabinet reface project was 1 week late and not to mention added cost of redoing plumbing twice. Our floor got scratched and our dining table got chipped. The installers were nice and apologetic but the sale person was not professional and very very unpleasant on the phone. He accused us of trying to rip them off for dents and nits, scolded my wife for being a "hard to please" customer and even threaten to refund our money back and uninstall the granite countertop. He told my wife we do not have the right to complain because "he is selling the granite top for cheap." We had never had such a hellish experience in our consumer life. We were told that the owner will call us back about our concerns but never did. Never once the sale person apologise for their mistakes or try to pay for the damages. Please beware. For $200 more I should have gone to Home Depot and not suffer all these abuses.

This complaint happened before I had taken over but would invite the homeowner to call me as I will resolve the issue immediately. Due to our industry leading pricing we install just over 1500 kitchens per year which equates to 5 kitchens per day. We are very focused on customer service since about 65% of our business is referalls from happy customers. The difficult part is trying to please all our customers and avoid the rare scenario of homeowners creating a list of things we are accused of damaging during install so that the homeowner has a reason not to pay thier balance owed to us. This complaint may not be that scenario and if that is the case I would like to speak with you to resolve your issues. We have an"A" on the BBB website and intend to keep it that way.
