Thought it would be better!. My friend and I decided to give this breakfast/lunch place a try after many people told us how good it is. Maybe we got an off day. First, we were told that we could not be seated until our entire party arrived. We waited for about 10 minutes for all to arrive. Second, the bathrooms needed cleaning. Third, one of the cooks was cooking and playing with his phone at the same time. Now to the food.... I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Was very disappointed. The biscuits (looked like hamburger buns) were dry and old. Could tell they have been on the shelf awhile. The gravy was cold and gloppy-- not a very good taste either. My friend ordered Dave's eggs benedict. The hash was from a can and Knorrs hollandaise sauce it a lot better. I was also surprised that you have to pay extra for hashbrowns! What breakfast place does that?? As is their breakfast is very expensive and then they put this charge on you! A plus was the coffee. My cup never was empty -- filling it all the time. I will give this place another chance just because it may have been an off day -- but they are only getting one more chance and I won't be ordering the biscuits and gravy

Huevos "WHAT"?. I had an early tee time north of the cities and wanted to get a good breakfast in me before my round. Having eaten at and enjoyed the Fat Nat's in New Hope, I was happy to see one is now open in BP.

I sat at the counter and ordered the Huevos Rancheros. While I waited for my meal to arrive, there were three or four waitstaff standing behind the counter socializing within earshot, and apparently without concern regarding socially acceptable dialogue for waitstaff while on the clock. Nevertheless, I was more amused than put off, and read the paper on my phone.

When my breakfast came, It did not look at all like the Huevos Rancheros I've come accustomed to enjoy at other restaurants. This was literally two fried eggs on top of two hard shell, corn tostata shells, with a side of cold, day-old salsa. The "diced" onions in the ice cold salsa were the size of big toenails.

There were many Latinos hanging out in the kitchen. I hope that they can share recipes for some of their native cuisine with Nat, otherwise I'll never go back to this place.

Hashbrowns were good, though!

Breakfast of Champions!. On weekends, Fat Nats Eggs is the place to be if you want all the fat, all the flavor and all the fun of a wholesome, "home cooked" meal fit for royalty! If there is one drawback to Fat Nats it is that you will wait in line for a table. This place is uber-popular with great reason. While you may get breakfast for less elsewhere, you'll certainly not get breakfast that tastes so good or fills so full.

With an expansive menu covering just about anything you can imagine for breakfast and a solid lunch to boot, this is a "gold standard" for ala carte breakfasts.

Don't miss it!
