Love Chimborazo. I love this place. Great authentic ecuadorian food! Service is good and the owner will occasionally make the rounds and say hello. I love the empanadas and the fried plantains. I highly suggest giving this place a try!

Not happy. Pretty good food (3 star) but terrible service (1 star). Slow and inefficient, inattentive, condescending/patronizing. Definitely NOT going back.

Ecuadorian restaurant finds a welcoming home in Northeast.. Understated and cozy, this Ecuadorian restaurant only has about nine tables. In fact, there might be more ceiling fans than tables at this no-frills joint, where stretched tapestries are artwork and four turned-off TVs are turned into electronic displays. Chimborazo, named after the tallest mountain in Ecuador specializes in authentic cuisine and hospitality. The dishes are decidedly unique, combining South American and Mexican influences and dishes like plantain fries, coconut pescado (which is like a warm, creamy curry dish, only without the kick) and sweet-potato cakes to offer the best in authentic, delicious and fresh Ecuadorian comfort food.
