Something new and great at this place..chef Gray.
we re discovered this place after a long absence with A pleasant surprise, the presence of a new chef by the name Ian Gray who re vamped the tired menu into a creative and value menu full of flavors for all.
The pasta to die for, and the fish and pork outstanding complimenting the interesting starters and salads? This young Chef is a great addition and we see him becoming a Twin Cities star.
The atmosphere is of a trattoria simple yet elegant and the service buttoned down to let us concentrate on enjoying Chef's Gary creations.

Citysearch Editorial Review.
This unassuming spot on the Linden Hills neighborhood serves up locally sourced Italian fare. Nestled on a quaint street in Linden Hills, Trattoria Tosca is a small and inviting bistro serving up rustic Italian fare that’s all locally sourced. The owner of the oft-celebrated Turtle Bread Company--which is right next door--has decided to bring his experience in food indulgence and decadence to this lovely little Italian eatery, which has been several years in the making. Candlelight dances on the dark wood tables and wall accoutrements as diners nosh on small plates like gnocchi and artfully created entrees like Thousand Hills grass-feed beef delicately topped with local mushrooms. Chef Adam Vickerman, who also heads the kitchen at Café Levain, has excelled at creating delicious Italian dishes that are uniquely Minnesotan.
