Sunday breakfast MUST.
It is always busy on Sunday morning but worth the wait
I love the vegetable hash ---Husband is egg and bacon and that is not to exciting but the waitress remembers us and brings him honey for the toast---
It has a very small town feel --rather that and a meal that is not always the same each time than the IHOP or Perkins that is same in NYC or San Diego
"Sorry about the potatoes, we're training in the dishwasher". This was the WORST food my family has EVER been served! No joke. The soup was cold and when we brought it to the waitresses attention she took it to the kitchen, microwaved it (heard the beeps) and brought it back . . . okay, I can deal with that. However, we both ordered the daily special turkey dinner which consisted of bland stuffing, waterlogged veggie medley, decent roasted turkey, and something that according to the menu were supposed to be "real" mashed potatoes. The "potatoes" were soupier than the gravy on top of them. I couldn't even keep them on my fork and they tasted like anything other than mashed potatoes. We laughed about it and decided to eat the turkey and be on our way. When asked by the waitress at the end of the meal how everything tasted, we were honest and said "terrible". She offered up the apology of "Oh, yeah, sorry about the potatoes, we're training in our dishwasher". Mmmmmmm...... we quickly paid and left. The waitress was clearly embarrassed but didn't offer any compensation for the blatantly unacceptable food. If she (and presumably the "cooks") knew it was so bad, why did they serve it to us. We will NEVER be back.
