I have been renting from EIG for a year now and am very dissatisfied with this company. I have never written a negative response before, but feel everybody needs to beware before renting from EIG. They are unprofessional and very hard to work with. They never answer their "business" phone, even in emergencies. It seems like it is a bunch of kids trying to run a business, as they make frequent mistakes. Please note, they also bribed me once to write a positive review in return to fix a small maintenance problem. I do feel that their positive review are not credible. There have been many other negative experiences with EIG, but I feel I cannot be too specific, as they will be able to trace this back to me and make it even harder to work with them.

Very unpleasant and unprofessional. The place was very messy when I moved in. I even scraped a dead mouse off the floor. When my lease was up and I was relieved to finally move out they charged me for things that were broken when I moved in. Whenever there was an issue they were hard to get a hold of and rarely returned my calls. I strongly discourage anyone from ever renting from EIG Property Management.

The most unprofessional, customer service lacking, inconsiderate, property management company I have EVER been in contact with or worked with.

When you FINALLY set up a time that works for THEM to come view the places, they don't answer their phones, and when you show up for the showing, they don't introduce themselves, give you any information, the apartments are disgusting, and they come completely unprepared. The properties haven't been cleaned, there is garbage in the hallways, counters are not even wipped down. The pictures of the place are a joke. They look NOTHING like those photos they post.

I'm 90% positive the person "showing" me the places was either high, or was severely hungover from the night before.

I would NEVER recommend ANY ONE to use this company. They are putting a bad name out their for themselves, and best of luck to them ever renting a place.

Hard to work with, and writing their own reviews.. This company has made it nearly impossible to rent in the twin cities without having to deal with them. They monopolize properties and from the sounds of it are incredibly lack luster land lords. I'm not even a renter and my dealings with the company in trying to secure an apartment are terrible. It seems like a start up business with management that doesn't have a clue.

And i'd just like to point out that the only "good" reviews come less than 24 hours apart from eachother. If you're going to write yourself reviews EIG, time it a little better.

Worst Management Company EVER!. I have never met people who are as incompetent and rude as the PRESIDENT of EIG. It was unbelievable how he talked to me and I would never recommend his company. He is a dumb kid trying to act like a business man and has no idea what he is doing!

Professional & Honest Service. I have known the owner of EIG for several years and have worked on some aspects of the business. I can attest that EIG is very professional and the staff is fantastic.

Avoid at all cost!. My friends are barred from commenting on EIG Property Management, so I am going to comment for them. The reason they can't is because they just finished a battle with these people and two other guys. The stipulation in order to get their damage deposit back was to sign a piece of paper that says they won't say anything about this company and remove postings. The fact of the matter is, this management company doesn't care about its tenants and care less about their building. There is no security in the building they owned in downtown that my friends lived in so people could wander in off the street. They had a caretaker who cared more about smoking pot and setting off bug bombs (when there was a baby living right above him) than he did about his job, and repairs were needed from day one of the lease and they didn't even start fixing them until my friends put in their notices. I am speaking for those who can't speak, but please, if you can avoid renting with this company, there are a lot better places out there.

Great Service. EIG has managed the rental and maintenance of my Mpls duplex for several years and they do a fantastic job. They are courteous and professional to my renters, and they make sure that any repairs or maintenance is done fast and done well. Before I found them I tried an awful company that didn't do anything they were supposed to, didn't return calls, was disorganized and unprofessional. EIG has been a lifesaver. So glad I found them.
