we stay here every time we are in the cities.
Since its been refurbished, this hotel is a pleasant place to stay, there's a Butter Burger's location in front of the hotel so you don't even have to get in the car with tired children if you want to grab something quick to eat. Easy on/off of 494, very friendly and helpful staff. Affordable. We had an flight delay getting us into Minneapolis at 1 a.m., the hotel reduced the cost of the stay because of the extemely late check in. Shuttle and proximity to Mall of America and airport big benefits and we stay here every time we come through town.
Comfortable inexpensive hotel caters to vacationing families with basic amenities.. In Short Ideal for traveling families, children 18 and under stay free with their parents and in-room entertainment includes 24-inch TVs and Nintendo. Standard guest rooms and suite offer other amenities including pillow-top mattresses, microwaves, large desks with ergonomic chairs, Internet access and complimentary local phone calls as well as a pool and fitness center. A 24-hour staffed front desk also makes it easy for a quick check-in and check-out.
OK, but not three stars and somewhat run-down.
Run-down and a bit dumpy. Not much of improvement since being sold by Baymont. Thought maybe they'd do more than change the signs.
Reasonably clean but not a three-star hotel. I don't like the old-fashioned punch-hole key cards. Seems they're tied to the rooms. Too easy to be robbed. Bothered by the staff twice while unable to open door and once at 8AM.
The waffles at breakfast smelled good, but that doesn't make for a good stay.
