I have read the posts on here and I have found no truth in the ones before mine. I in fact checked out this company and found quality used appliance closed. the one you call Optimum appliance. Well I check them out also. well they don't even have the same owners. very good ratings on the BBB and very easy to talk to staff. We did a full background on this company. so I must say before you bash a company you should get your facts straight.

Run, Run, Run.... Now called Optimum Appliance and Recycling Center, dropped the LLC and then registered for new one so they would not have to be responsible for all the crap they previously sold. Bought appliances from them and had issues with every one. Poor service. Gave up on getting the last two fixed after hasseling with them for over 7 months! Never heard so many lies and seen such bad customer service. Wish I would have read some reviews on the web and on the BBB.

They had to change names because they destroyed their reputation doing buiness as Quality Used Appliance. Now apparently they call themselves Optimum Appliance.

I bought a used side by side fridge, it worked for a little while, then quit. Quality used appliance took my fridge to fix it under warranty. I still don't have it back nearly a year later. I had to buy a new fridge, no one can go for months without a fridge. They have lied to me over and over, saying one day that it is on the truck, ready to be delivered, then 3 days later saying they are still working on it. Do not do business with these scammers!

Rating: poor Sold me a busted dryer.

Huge hassle to get a tech out.. After managing to get him out 5 times.. He Has yet to fix the problem..

Unacceptable customer service.. They literally hang up on you..

After about 7 attempts, still haven't been able to speak to their manager.. Busy guy..

Have promised to have tech/manager call back about 10 times.. They never do..

I'm shocked these guys are still in business.. Wish I read some reviews first..

Do yourself a favor, and buy else where.

I bought an entire house worth of appliances from this company for my home and my mothers! everything works so wonderfull! they painted my mothers fridge for free! The prices were low and appliances in wonderful condition!

this place is awesome, great prices and great people, i dont see the big issue with all of you guys its a great place. small buissiness trying to make a difference with recycling, and helping people get a nice appliance for cheap. they know what they are doing.

I had QUAR come out to pick up appliances which they offered to pay us for (the working ones). We called multiple times over the course of 2 weeks and left multiple messages - no response. Finally we posed as a new customer and the owner was then coincidentally available to talk to... he told me to F*ck off and hung up the phone. So we filed a police report to which he said he would send the agreed to documents - with still no reponse. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use these guys. Also check the Better Business Bureau's website.

I don't understand this negative review. To me it sounds like someone is acting like a little child to insult someone on the web. I bought 4 appliances over a year ago from this place and never once had any trouble. Just went back on Friday and bought 3 more for a rental unit. They have a good thing going here and people like you want to just wine about everything. A ice maker tray? Really? Sound to me you don't know the inside of a fridge very well. There's no tray. There's the ice maker and the auger bin. No tray. Sounds to me like your a competitor just bashing a good business.
