Sunless Airbrush TanningFun, instant, bronze…beautiful! Airbrush tanning is the new, exciting way to get that “hawaiian vacation tan”. Using the airbrush, a cool, fine mist is gently hand sprayed over the body, which effortlessly blends in evenly & works w/ the top layer of the skin, producing an instant, natural-looking bronzed tan effect. Our formula will last for 5-7 days & even longer when using our moisturizing tan extender. What to do before your airbrush tanning session: at least 8 hours before your appointment, shower, exfoliate & shave. Pay special attention to your knees, ankles, feet, elbows & knuckles. Because the tanning solution reacts w/ the top layers of the skin, the tan fades as the skin exfoliates. Getting rid of dead skin before tanning will extend the life of the tan. If you don’t exfoliate properly, the tan will start to flake off within 24 hours. Wear loose-fitting, dark clothes. Cotton works best. The solution easily washes out of most clothing, but is likely to be absorbed by wool, nylon, silk, linen & leather. You may tan in the garment of your choice. Bathing suits & underwear work well. Do not moisturize or use leave in conditioners the day of the session. Moisturizer will keep the solution from soaking into your skin. Do not use a deodorant before your tanning session. Have your fingernails & toenails painted. The solution will stain the natural nail but will wash off a painted nail. After your airbrush tanning session: wait 6 – 8 hours before you shower. This will allow the solution ample time to react w/ the amino acids in the skin. Don’t wear tight clothing for at least 4-5 hours. Anything that chafes the skin will cause the skin & the tan to rub off. Moisturize each night to keep you & your tan looking healthy & glowing. Avoid long, hot baths or showers. They speed up the exfoliation process. Avoid exercising immediately after your tanning session. Perspiration soon after application will inhibit absorption & shorten the life of your tan
