In Short
Downtown Minneapolis has become a theatrical center largely due to the renovation of this gem in the early '90s. Smaller than the nearby Orpheum Theatre, this venue is similar in its beautifully restored interior, complete with a grand sloping balcony that hangs over the rear half of the main floor. Broadway touring productions sometimes set up shop here. Rock concerts, comedians and dance performances fill in the rest of the schedule.

This theater is pretty great, what with the sights, the intimate downtown locale, and fun shows.
