12 previews lasting 50 minutes!!! UN-believable.
by mantadive at Citysearch
My ex took my little girl to see Puss in Boots at the Regal Brooklyn Center 20, and they counted 12 - that's one dozen - previews. So by all means, go here if you want to pay to waste almost an hour of your time on previews. And if you have a young kid who needs to get to bed after the show then be aware too. I will never go there again.
Great theater

This is actually one of my two preferred theaters. Between this and Rosedale AMC, I would rather go here. For such a nice theater there it's rarely packed and I always get good seats, never wait too long in lines, and the screens and sound are great. Staff does a good job at keeping it clean.
Only complaint is that once in a while you get some people that can't keep their mouths shut and you have to either tell them to be quiet or go complain. Staff has always dealt with it when i was there.
- Pros: Great screens, food & beverage, clean, great move selections
- Cons: sometimes rude people in theather that talk
Chill...this place is great!

This place has great concessions, great screans, great sound and is kept pretty clean. YES! There are some rif raf that hang out, but C'MON! We used to BE the rif raf in our days. Mind your own buisiness, don't get involved, and enjoy your show. If you are scared of the opposite ethnicities...head out to the country!
Dirty and unsafe

I haven't had poor experiences with the staff. Typically they are doing their jobs and actually work faster than other theaters I've visited. That's always appreciated. My biggest issue with this theater is the feeling of unease I typically get when walking up to the front doors. It's common to see police officers patrolling the parking lot and there are always several people loitering outside. I also remember a time when one of my friends was actually attacked during a movie for asking the group behind her to stop talking over the sound. The staff was quick to escort the group off the premises, but we don't go there anymore unless they don't have the movie somewhere else close by. For a better experience and just as nice screens, check out the Wynnsong in New Brighton.
- Pros: Available movies, fast staff, great sound
- Cons: Serious safety issues and overall poor environment
Not All That !

The Regal Theater for me is just ok. I like that there is a large selection of movie to choose from. I also like the timing of the movies. The theater setup is pretty cool too. The negatives about the Regal are the price for the tickets, it's constantly going up. The popcorn is way to much money and on top of that very stale. And some of the employees, a select few ,could really use an attitude adjustment. I only choose this theater because it's not very far from my home otherwise I probably wouldn't go there.
- Pros: Parking is free , Large movie selections, Great movie timing
- Cons: Stale popcorn, Very expensive, Some negative employees
A gigantic candy-colored cinema wonderland just minutes from downtown.

In Short
Impossible to miss--a mass of almond, salmon, teal and lavender that encloses 90,000 square feet of ultra-modern cinema comfort. The vast atrium features picnic tables in a corner "cafe," a game room, and dual LED toteboards listing the current program on each of the 20 screens. The cinemas themselves are gigantic, with plush high-backed stadium seats, all-digital sound, and bizarre Deco-Diner wall adornments.
Close but No Cigar

This is a great theater. However, the last two times the admission price before 6pm has been raised over what is advertised here on the internet. It shows $5.25 today (more than other stadium seating theaters in the area anyway) and we were charged $5.75. Additionally, we were sold the wrong time so incurred some hassel getting it changed. Concessions are ridiculous. Small popcorn (yesterday's by the way) and med drink for $7.00. Nice for major mega picture like Lord of the Rings but not your avg picture.
- Cons: Too expensive, Old Popcorn, Concession too high
Nice building, not so nice workers

It has a lot of screens and good seating. It gets the better movies and they do a good job of scheduling. The staff apperars to have recieved no training at all. They are not very helpful or courteous. They are often just sitting around talking while people wait. I asked when a movie was due to be released and the staffer said "check on the internet".
- Pros: Good Seating, Decent Sound, Good Selection
- Cons: Bad Help, Slow Concessions, Poorly trained staff
The best

Compare to others, this theater is the best. Big screen, nice set up, huge parking lot, food, and game center.
2 thumbs up!

I've never had any problems with the employees at Regal. They have always come across professional and quite nice. Most are high school kids just trying to make a buck. This isn't their career....you have to give them a break. Other than that just like any theater it way too loud, but after the first few minutes the ringing in your ears fades and all is well. I may have to drive 15 miles, but it's still my theater of choices. 2 thumbs up!
