This sunken garden in the heart of downtown Minneapolis swells with the sound of music each summer--it's where the Minnesota Orchestra stages its July concert series. The plaza's cascading fountains and shady corners also make it one of the top places for downtown workers to cool off during their lunch hour. Peavy Plaza gets frozen over in winter, transforming it into a popular outdoor ice skating spot.
