Westside Live at Redstone's Eden Prairie
by WestsideBand
Westside is thrilled each time Redstone's asks them to perform.
The service is 1st class all the way and the food is yum yum! Our fav is the shrimp app. spicy and good. Well worth it.
Its always packed when we are there - and our fans haven't mentioned it being anything except a wonderful experience.
- Pros: They Have Great Bands Every Wednesday
- Cons: They only have live music on Wednesday
Worth it

I have read several of the reviews regarding Redstone. Almost all the negative one's seem to involve long waits to get seated. The restaurant TAKES reservations. Simply call and make one. We were seated promptly and our food was delicious. We were able to have drinks, entrees, and dessert all for around $60.00 which is very, very reasonable compared to similar restaurants around town where we have easily spent $100 plus. I do agree that the wait staff can be over zealous. They tend to stop by one to many times but I will surely take that over not seeing your server for 30 minutes. Overall great food and suprisingly good value.
Overzealous wait staff

Redstone is changing some; the salads are getting less and less of the more expensive items, i.e. chicken and more towards cheaper ingredients like iceberg. The roasted chicken dinner is great and the flatbreads are also except for less of the main ingredients. Drinks are downtown priced-not good for the suburb dining. Don't too much drink here.
The place will annoy you with overly attentive, pesty, constantly interruptive waitresses pushing more food and drinks- at a business lunch, the staff interrupted our conversation 12 times at least. We don't want to feel like we're at Champps where they push alcohol constantly. Also it's very loud by the kitchen and bar areas especially for conversation.
- Pros: The food is good
- Cons: Noisy at dinner time and lunch hour
Expected more, got less.

Overall, I enjoy dining at Redstone, but my rating is based on the delivery of my meal and efforts needed to get it right. Please read on..
I have dined at Redstone in Plymouth on several occasions. My expectations were always high, but delivery consistently missed the mark.
I stopped by for a late lunch (2:30) today (11/11) after shopping at Ridgedale Centre. As usual, the service upon entry was welcoming and pleasant. I decided to dine at the bar and catch up on the latest news. I ordered a low-end glass of Merlot that tasted close to vinegar. I didn?t complain as it was one of the least expensive on the menu ($8). I couldn?t decide between the chili / cornbread combo and the Prime Rib sandwich that was displayed on the Lunch menu. The bar tender suggested the Prime Rib (I suspect because it?s $16). What sold me on the selection was the horseradish cream sauce as I generally enjoy a bit of spice to my meals.
My side selection was mash potatoes. I sipped my wine and after about 5 minutes, my meal was served, with French fries. No problem, this was quickly remedied within 90 seconds. The prime rib was cooked to order (med-well), however, the horseradish cream was extremely bland and the au jus was almost room temperature. I asked the bartender if I could get some pure horseradish to give the cream sauce some flavor and to heat my au jus to a bubbly point. Approx 150 seconds later, my request was satisfied. After polishing-off my meal, I had another Merlot and watched the stock market report on the overhead wide-screen.
Even though I eventually enjoyed my meal, it seemed to be an effort on my part to get it right, especially for the $35 tab (not including tip).
- Pros: Overall atmosphere
- Cons: Getting the order right
Great Restaurant!!! Wonderful food and ambiance!
by briluke1
This restaurant has amazing food, atmosphere and service. Whether you are sitting at the bar have a light bite and drinks or ready to enjoy a romantic dinner....this is the place. Don't be surprised by the fancy cars in the parking lot....the rich come here for the same reason you should....GREAT FOOD. The Chicken Tortilla Soup on Tuesday night is delicious. But, you have to try a wedge of cornbread with Maple Butter - TO DIE FOR!!! It's a must on every visit. Their specials are very well priced and two big enough for two to share with a bowl of soup. Drinks can be on the expensive side, but the Berry Stoli Martini is awesome (made with Pineapple infused vodka). The wait staff is attentive and polite! Be aware that it get's busy on Friday and Saturday nights so make reservations or be prepared to wait - it's worth it! There is also a location in Eden Prairie, MN that is just as lovely! Don't be afraid to ask your waiter for menu suggestions. The bar area has some good priced starter options if that's all you are in the mood for.
- Pros: Wonderful food and warm atmosphere with fireplaces.
- Cons: Can get noisy and crowded - I wouldn't bring kids here.
Great food, service and atomosphere.

We went for dinner on a Saturday night and got right in. Treasure was our waitress and she really is a treasure! We were thrilled with everything. The service, food and drinks were all top notch. Try the lobster bisque, it's the best I've ever had, but fair warning, you'll be hooked. There were no negatives. Highly recommended.
- Pros: Great food and service
- Cons: A little spendy but totally worth it.
Rude.

Bad Customer Service!
Tried to make a reservation by phone and Liz pretty much said "we don't need your business". And maybe they don't. It was for 10 people....they must be doing great.
Best FONDUE!
by amyweathers
Yum! I can't stop thinking about the great fondue appetizer I had today at lunch. I have to admit, at first sight I was a little turned off by all of the BMW's and Range Rover's in the parking lot, but that was soon forgotten once I was sitting at my table. I met a friend for lunch and we got in right away - it was 12:00 noon!!! I was very impressed. The food...wow! to die for! I loved it!!! Definately recommended for a business lunch or a fun night out with friends.
- Pros: Food
- Cons: Parking - it looks more crowded than it really is
Very Impressed

Our friends took us there for brunch on a Sunday. Great service and attention from the staff without hovering. All of our dishes tasted wonderful. Were not rushed out after finishing meal as we visited another hour, we upped our tip of course.
- Pros: Service, Food, Reservations were kept to time
Popular family friendly spot near Ridgedale Mall serves traditional American cuisine.

In Short
If Martha Stewart had a cabin on Lake Superior, it might look a bit like this restaurant. It's both rustic and plush, with split rock walls, roomy leather booths and artful dried-flower arrangements. Here, it's all about big portions, reasonable prices and hearty meals. The menu features lots of hearty meat-and-potatoes options, traditionally prepared: burgers, barbecue ribs, grilled salmon, rotisserie-roasted pork, prime rib.
