I've found my new love!

After the movies at Willow Creek Theater, we happened upon a terrific little dessert shop in the Willow Grove Shopping Mall - WOW! Why haven't I heard of this place before? Truffles & Tortes - the cutest little shop filled with absolutely gorgeous desserts - almost too pretty to eat! The Concerto (a delicious carmel/chocolate creation) was awesome. Creamy and light - YUM! They also have cheesecake, whole tortes, truffles and cookies and yummy bars, and a truly decadent chocolate flourless torte - that's on my list for next time! Coffee and teas - this place has something for every taste! Easy to find - just off Hwy 169 and Shelard Pkwy. Took only minutes to get there from downtown.
- Pros: Quality, Gorgeous, Inexpensive
Plymouth's Best Hole-in-the-Wall!

I've been going to the Chinese restaurant in the same strip mall since I moved to the Twin-Cities 3 years ago, and always wondered about "Truffles and Tortes" each time I passed it. Finally, after a few months I decided on a whim to walk in and see what it was about. I tried, as recommended, the "Concerto", and I kid you not, dessert has never been the same for me. I have been there at least once every few weeks since, and have tried almost everything in the case. The best has to be hands down the raspberry almond torte. Nothing compares to T&T! If it's not from there, it's not dessert!
Beautiful desserts, what a treat!!

I found this place from the reviews on here and went there today after a terrible lunch experience at a different restaurant. We wanted to end our lunch on a positive note. It's a nice quaint little shop in the stripmall across from the Willow Creek theatre off Shelard Pkwy by the General Mills campus. We ordered 5 truffles and 4 tortes and so far everything is fantastic (of course we didn't eat it all). I had the almond/rasberry torte and it was by far the best torte I've ever tasted. My fiance ate 2 of the truffles and said they were really good - I won't take his word for it though, as I'll be sneaking a piece for myself later. If you get a chance, stop in - you won't regret it.
- Pros: parking, service, desserts
- Cons: none
The Best!

We went here looking into cake for our wedding. They gave us a sample of their lemon cake and we were hooked. Everyone at the wedding raved about it! I picked up a Chocolate Nirvana as well, which was also delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone!
The master-crafted goodies glow behind the glass display like museum showpieces at this secret-of-the-city bakery.

In Short
The enticing aromas of decedent cakes, tortes, tarts and truffles fill the cozy country-chic cafe planted across from the Willow Creek movie theater. Commuters stop by the petite tin-roof bakery for coffee and pastries on weekday mornings and return with their families for after-dinner desserts at night. The lunchtime crowd comes to curb their mid-afternoon sweet tooth and to pick over the fresh soups, salads and quiches from personal chef/catering company Annie's Cooking Tonight.
Unforgettable! Super Hero like desserts.

When I think of dessert, my first thought always goes to Truffles and Tortes. That's when my mouth starts watering and I develop a one track mind...Must go to Truffle and Tortes! My personal favorite is the "Chocolate Mascarpone Torte" so if chocolate is your soul food, prepare to pray, your salvation is near.
- Pros: Decadence, perfect for after theatre dessert, or filling that sweet tooth
- Cons: None

After going to see a movie at the Willow Creek theatre, my boyfriend and I discovered this little dessert shop next door. The desserts were AMAZING!!! The service was also superb...the clerk recommended the "concerto" which my boyfriend and I shared and DEVOURED. I will definitely be back again, and I would highly recommend this place as a unique, out of the ordinary place to take a date...the chocolate will surely send you both home happy!
- Pros: beautiful display, awesome staff, TASTY desserts

Great cake - tremendous selection

We were at a wedding where the cake was made by these guys. It was the best cake I ever had! We had to go to Plymouth to check them out -- we'll be back often! It's kind of a hidden place so now we know why we had never heard of them before. The place is very nice. The service was great and the desserts all very pretty. We recommend the Nirvana and the lemon tart. (And the white cake with fresh strawberries.) Keep up the good work Truffles & Tortes!
- Pros: beautiful, high quality desserts, great service
