Good Food-Lousy Service
by annicadelayla at Citysearch
I just ate here. It was good food but both workers we came into contact with made me feel like they couldn't wait for us to leave. Maybe because it's Labor Day? It wasn't that busy though. This was at the one in New Hope too...
Our server never came back to check how things were and she was terrible at following directions. (wanted lemonade in our ice tea and tomatoes on the eggs benedict.
Ahhhh well. I guess I expected more when they won best breakfast. But the food was good...and it beats Perkins any day...
Not impressed with Nats...

I was not impressed with this place at all. As soon as you enter it smells like old greasy fried food. My hubby ordered the biscuits and gravy and I ordered the Elmers breakfast. The eggs were good and the "American Fries" (chunks of red potatoes with scallions) were just good - not great. The sausage gravy was very thick and just ok. All in all I don't see the attraction to this place - it is not an extraordinary restaurant at all.
- Pros: Hot coffee
- Cons: Old greasy spoon
Best Breakfasts Ever
by GT Crystal at Citysearch
I can call in an order and come pick it up to bring back to the office. Always hot, always perfect and the servers remember me. Love to dine in also.
- Pros: Great food, friendly service, large portions
- Cons: None

breakfast the way it Should be!

This is how a breakfast joint is defined. Busy with pretty ladies and great cooks, lots of people with lots of conversation. No uniforms quietly roaming from table to table on carpeted floors. Jeff sets the standard here. He knows breakfast and you will be spoiled. (Great lunches too). Say Hi to Salvador. He will be the one shaking your hand and telling you that you made his day by coming in!
No Salvador, you made mine!
- Pros: Food, Staff, Prices, Food, and Staff
- Cons: Why would I need a CON?
Biscuits and Gravy
by newton at Citysearch
Seriously, the best I've had! Whenever I travel, I try other restaurant's biscuits and gravy and my response is usually, "not Nat's!"
- Pros: I measure everything against nat's
- Cons: it's a popular option...they run out once in awhile:)
GREAT! Hollendaise!

Or, in a terrible neighborhood, equally far from town (Crooklyn Dark).
But, Vicki (sp?) at New Hope is an absolute doll. She was so nice to us and stuff. The eggs were NOT hard yolk as ordered, but nothing else at all was wrong.
Needs pie. Otherwise PERFECT!
- Pros: LOVES the benedict, lots of vegetarian options, CHEAP!
- Cons: In the middle of f'n nowhere (New Hope),
First Timer

I went for the first time on a Saturday for a Noon breakfast. They were super busy which made me think it must be really good. WON--DER--FUL! I have never had such a good breakfast. The eggs were so delicious and needed no seasoning. It was way more food than we could eat and at a great price. No more Perkins for me!
- Pros: Great food, great price, good service
- Cons: very small spot. needed more elbow room.
