Yummy Yumma

galactic is definitely my favorite pizza. you might think that because its all organic and "healthy" that taste would be an issue, or that it would just be kind of basic. that couldn't be farther from the truth. honestly the best tasting pizza around. i'm not terribly fond of the plain pizza with tomato sauce, but the alfredo, pizza a la vodka, and pizza bianca are to die for. its like heaven baked into pizza form. also has great vegetarian options. the veggie chicken, peps, and sausages are quite delicious. i haven't tried the vegan cheese yet, but perhaps someday. the pasta is also surprisingly good and not that pricey.
we've never had any problems with delivery. one time we had forgotten to order pop and we called about 20-30 min after ordering to ask if they could add it on and about ten min later they delivered pizza+pop. also, the delivery guys are pretty awesome.
i'm not going to get into all the environmentally friendly policies they have. i'll just say that it makes you feel like you're doing the earth a favor by eating pizza. can't complain about that.
there is also a 4:20 special that a delivery guy told us about. if you order between 4:10 and 4:30 they'll take $4.20 off the cost of the pizza. how awesome is that?
- Pros: pizza, pizza, pizza, environmentally friendly.
- Cons: lil pricey (but worth it)
great pizza made with great ingredients
by thojesa
my husband and i just ordered takeout from galactic, so i am not sure about the service, but the pizza was awesome! the ingredients are quality and fresh. it is also a great location. i would definitely eat here again.
- Pros: delicious pizza, fresh ingredients
- Cons: a little pricey
Delicious pizza that is out of this world, Quick, fun, environmentally friendly delivery.

Besides having your wonderful pizza delivered by a super hero, you know that you are supporting an environmentally friendly business. Other's should take note. Great delivery service, pizza that doesn't fall apart, is still hot, and is tasty no matter what toppings you select (I do something different, every other time.)
- Pros: Speedy delivery, great solid pizza (not fluff), fun delivery
$2 coupon??
by bobsac
That logic doesn't make sense buddy. One coupon per pizza - seems pretty straight foward. Do you think if you saved up 8 of these coupons you would get your pizza for free??? Of course not. I don't think the staff are the morons you claim they are.
Food's great and inventive. The drivers use electric cars and wear super hero uniforms (no joke).
And the staff is intelligent enough to stop a coupon scam when they see one (maybe try the photo copier next time - you could eat free pizza forever!)
- Pros: Delivery
- Cons: Dine In
Come for the Social Conscience, stay for the food

When I first heard about Galactic Pizza, I decided to try out the restaurant because I liked its community focus. After ordering a couple of their pizzas I was hooked. They make a lovely thin crust with either traditional ingredients or wide array of surprising ones; perusing their menu is entertaining in and of itself. I have enjoyed every one of their "specialty" pizzas that I've tried, including the one with wild rice.
I have only dined in a couple of times. The atmosphere is funky and very casual, and I personally really like it. The service was slow when I was there. The dining room is very small - maybe 10 4-tops at most, and was full when I visited on a Thusday night around 8:00.
I will certainly be returning, not to mention ordering plenty more of their pies for delivery.
- Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Social Conscience
- Cons: Service
Eat with your conscience, but bring your wallet.

The idea behind Galactic Pizza is amazing -- a fully conscientious and sustainable restaurant that not only uses organic ingredients, but also gives to local charities, supports local organic farmers, and uses wind for electricty. If you're vegan or try to avoid cheese, the soy mozzrella is among the best you'll have. But you'll pay for this in higher prices and questionable service. Still, the cause is so good, and the food solid if not spectacular, that you will find yourself going back again, like we will.
- Pros: Conscience, Food, Ambiance
- Cons: Service, Price
OK pizza, stupid staff.
by robertserr
I had a coupon for $2 off a pizza. I called up and ordered 2 pizzas, at $15 each. I should get $4 off because i'm ordering 2 pizzas right? WRONG. The brainboxes at galactic pizza aren't greedy enough charging $15 for a 12" pizza. They refused to take $2 off each pizza. I threatened to cancel one of the pizzas if they didn't take $2 off, and they were fine with that. So now they have lost $15 instead of earning $13, oh and pissed off a regular customer in the process. The stupid thing about it was, i could have easily just ordered one pizza, got $2 off, hung up, called back and ordered another pizza and got $2 off that one too. Congratulations galactic pizza. You are so smart. I hope it was worth it.
- Pros: good toppings
- Cons: WAY to expensive, stupid staff, dont honour coupons
A pizza delivery company with a vision that's out of this world.

In Short
This colorful, non-chain pizza place is focused on being friendly to the Earth. They use fresh, organic, seasonal, often local and even vegan-friendly ingredients in their build-your-own pizzas, salads and pastas. Though there are a few tables inside, most pizzas are put in recycled, biodegradable boxes for delivery via bicycle or electric vehicles--weather permitting. Every detail is community conscious down to the desserts from local bakeries.
