Great Food and Attention to Detail!!

As the Administrative Assistant for a large corporation I have a lot on my plate and when I find a company that makes me look like a rock star, I have to say thanks! I contacted Joseph Catering after the CEO of my company asked me to coordinate an open house for 200+ people in less than 3 weeks. Joseph Catering created a special menu for us, AND did everything in a timely manner! The level of customer service was impeccable, and the food was amazing! I couldn't have been happier with my experience here, and I cannot wait to use them for our employee Summer picnic this year!

• Cons: Not the least expensive caterer

Whether throwing a circus-themed birthday party for a 10 year old or wining and dining the company president, this "we'll do anything" catering service is up to the task. Executive chefs are on-call anytime, anywhere to cut and chop specialties such as chicken-ginger Asian stir-fry, family-style lasagna, meat, grilled vegetables and cheese platters. Add in desserts like seven-layer chocolate cake or personalized cupcakes to complete the feast.

Great Food, Good Staff, Horrible Event Coordination

What a major disappointment! We chose this caterer for our wedding after hearing great things and meeting an energetic and creative event coordinator. One month before our event we learned that our great event coordinator had been replaced by someone else--no call, no warning, just a fact that we were forced to deal with. Energetic and creative, this new guy was not. We made the time for numerous meetings, phone calls, itineraries and maps to try to catch this new coordinator up and get him on board, without success. It was only because of the savy staff and fabulous chef that our wedding was saved from becoming a complete mess. The coordinator apparently had not re-read his notes--or even found our file (he had lost it once before). They were late on arriving to set up, forgot many of the simple set-up instructions that had been emailed to him eariler in the week and mapped out at previous meetings, and neglected to right the wrongs when asked. As a result, our guests were forced to dine at dirty picnic tables while weaving their way around stacked up chairs and tables that were never set up. When called on these details, the coordinator's attitude and disrespect towards us was astounding. Through it all the staff did a great job keeping a smile on their faces and our guests happy. And kudos to Mark, the chef, as the food was raved about by everyone. Overall, it was a truly disappointing experience. Call Mark directly to make the food and find someone else to handle the other details!
