Fantastic food and service.
by alicea825
Every time I have come here (Maple Grove), the wait staff has always been very friendly and knowledgable. You always start out with the "biaggi butter" which is olive oil, parmesan and cracked black pepper to dip a variety of breads in. We always start out with the bruschetta, which is the best of all the italian restaurants we've been to (including in Italy) and end our meals with their fantastic desserts. Everything in between is fabulous!
- Pros: Atmosphere, wait staff, food and desserts.
Great Spot, Great Food

Yesterday was my first trip to Biaggi's and I truly enjoyed it! Sunday evening, so it wasn't extremely packed. We were greeted by about 7 greeters and taken to a cozy little booth right away. Our server came over right away and got us started by mixing their delicious herb infused olive oil with fresh cracked pepper and Parmesan cheese for dipping our bread. She seemed to rush through the specials of the day and completely lost me in the middle, I generally tend to forgive servers who have to say those lines so many times a day... especially since it was on paper right in front of us.
We ordered the Carpaccio to start and it was delicious, though I thought it could have had a bit less cracked pepper on it being that you have your own pepper cracker at the table. I personally am not a huge fan of pepper in great quantity, you may be different.
I ordered the Shrimp Oreganata, which is lightly breaded shrimp with pasta in a red sauce. I thought it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, not too much breading, and great flavor. The pasta was simple, the sauce was very good and complimented the dish perfectly. In my opinion, a great value for the price. I especially liked how when I placed my order our server got excited and told me that was her favorite dish!
My companion ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, which is served atop garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach in a roasted red pepper sauce. All looked wonderful and I was able to get a nice little bite of fish and it was really tasty and tender, just like fish should be!
I ordered us each a glass of wine that I thought would go well with our meals and they absolutely did. They have a nice selection of wine by the glass and some nice bottles as well. I thought, overall, that this was a great place and I will be back to try one of the many other things on the menu that caught my eye!
- Pros: great service, delicious food
- Cons: none
One of the worst Italian food
by coolvigo
Both me and my wife did not liked the food at Biaggi's. I wont recommend this to anyone. We tried 4 dishes and all had sweet taste...weird.....It was all chinese-Italian......I was schoked to taste that......
I never had this kind of wierd taste before. Stay away from this place.

Favorite Restaurant in Maple Grove
by LindaJPMN
I've been there several times at lunch and have always had a wonderful meal.
We really enjoy the breads that are served when you are first seated. The breads are always
fresh. Trigger fish is one of my favorites and I also enjoy their soup and salad combo's.
The price is very reasonable. We've always had very good service.
- Pros: Food and service.
- Cons: I can't think of any.
Our new favorite Restaurant!
by julez4u2
My husband and I are now calling this 'Our Italian Restaurant'. The service is wonderful, the food & wine are superb. I can't tell you how fresh everything tastes, you can't help but to savor every bite. Prices are so reasonable, it's hard to not want to come back often! : )
- Pros: Excellent food, wine, ingredients & service
- Cons: Can get noisy; tables for two are a little cramped
Never a bad meal!

This is by far the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to- and it's cheap! The lamb is so good, I nearly want to order it every time. I really prefer the Maple Grove location to the Eden Prairie location since there were a lot of children at the EP location when I went there. Our servers in Maple Grove have always been very attentive. A great bottle of wine is as low as $30. If they have risotto, order it to go since you'll be full when you leave, but it's not to be missed!
- Pros: Lamb; carpaccio; wine; risotto
- Cons: the dessert canelloni isn't spectacular
Great dinner spot!!

Great food, wine, and atmosphere (even if it is attached to a mall). Lots of variety and our personal favorites are the Shrimp Oreganata and their fresh parmesan at the table to add to everything.
- Cons: Make reservations in advance, this place can get busy.
Worked here since we opened.

Hello. I have worked at Biaggi's since we have opened. I just stumbled into a review of my workplace, so I thought that I should offer a few tips on enjoying the restaurant itself.
If you would like to eat on Friday or Saturday in a timely manner, make reservations as soon as possible (A few days ahead will probably be required)
If you have neglected to make reservations, stop into the bar, full menu and service is provided, and the staff there is great.
What to order:
Appetizer:
- Carpaccio
- Calamari alla Griglia
- Duck Confit
Entree:
- Ziti al Forno
- Fettucini with Lobster
- Capelinni Di Mare
- Chilean Sea Bass
- Chicken Pietro
- Filet Mignon
Dessert:
- Tirami Su
- Sue's Chocolate Chip Banana Paradiso
- White Chocolate Bread Pudding
Wine by the Glass:
- Red: Cantino de Custoza Valpolicella (Thin, mild, fruity)
- Red : Riscal Tempernillo (Extremely Dry)
- Red : Steltzner Claret (Not quite as Dry)
- White: Tiefenbruner Pinot Grigio (A bit sweet, more citrus than your typical 'Grigio')
- White: Pino and Toi (Dryer White, interesting blend)
Wine by the Bottle:
- Red : Zenato Ripassa Valpolicella (sp) (Mild red. Not Dry. Fruit driven wine)
- Red : Gaja Promis Super Tuscan (Fruit driven, Dry, a bit bigger)
- Red : MurphyGoode Liar's Dice Zinfandel (Jammy Zin, yummy, good wine for price)
- White : Tiefenbruner Pinot Grigio. (Can you tell that I like this wine?)
Come down and see us. I've worked for the restaraunt since we opened, and we really try our best to let you get a full experience for a reasonable price. I am a server, not a manager. I am not by any means required to do this.
- Pros: Great overall experience
- Cons: Can get a bit noisy
My favorite

One of my favorite restaurants. Reasonable prices that are similar to Olive Garden, but the food is of no comparison. Great service as well.
- Pros: Service, food, ambience, date spot
- Cons: Can get busy on a weekend night. Make reservations.
Good food, nice atmosphere
by darluu
Classy Italian dining but still reasonably priced. Weekly specials offer something different, while the always offered Minestrone soup is always good. Fresh basket of variety of breads with oil and parmesan start the dinner off right. Spinach salad is delicious too. Good service usually - only slow on occasion.
