Not worth the money
by HarmKayMom
I was very excited to go to this place. Many of my co-workers gave me a list of the cupcakes that they wanted to try. When we got there, they did not have 8 out of the 15 that we needed. I was also told that the person that makes the bread did not come into work that day so there was no bread either. What a disappointment. However, when I tried the cupcake, I was glad that they were out of the rest of them. These cupcakes are dry and small with little flavor. I would have expected a little bigger of a cupcake for $3. I could have made a more moist cupcake out of a box. This place is not worth the drive.
Less than average cupcakes

I agree with the other reviewers. I had tried 2 different kinds of cupcakes, they were both dry and bland. Not worth it a $3 each. The only good thing about my visit was the flavored lip balm sold at the counter! A Piece Of Cake has much better (and bigger) cupcakes and service.
Terrible dry bread

An ounce of soup and a sandwich that was all bread, and no filling. Just one half a pice of turkey swimming in mayo.
For 10.00?????
Whoever these people have cooking and baking they need to go back to school.
- Pros: overpriced
- Cons: workers must hate to work there based on their attitude.
nothing special

A nice environment, but the food was just ok. The BLT was good. Had it with a cup of soup and canned would have been better. The cupcake was dry and not very flavorful and for $3 for just one, it should have been GREAT. A box of hostess treats would have been better (and I'm not really a fan of them!) Not a place that I'd go to again.
- Pros: good BLT
- Cons: expensive for what you get
alright cupcakes

I went there with my boyfriend for a treat. We both got cupcakes, each a different kind. They weren't amazing...But they weren't bad either. I just don't think they were worth the $3 or so (ea.) we payed. They have a nice outdoor sitting space, but the inside seating is limited. Overall, it didn't leave an overwhelming impression, good or bad, on me. I wouldn't avoid trying out some of their "real" food if I were in the area, but I won't go rushing back for the expensive cupcakes, either.
- Pros: good outdoor seating
- Cons: price
Crabby serves and way too expensive
by alisonzoo
Is close to my office and have tried a couple times for a quick coffee and lunch/treat. I've had a poor experience on multiple occasions. Much too price for the quality of food. Serves often seem grumpy and unhappy to be troubled with customers.
- Pros: none
- Cons: serivce, food, parking
Eh- cute, but not that tastey

We were looking at purchasing 200 cupcakes for our wedding (used as centerpieces & cake). We were SO excited to come here, the cupcakes themselves are super pretty. But, ultimately, the taste is only so-so. Not worth nearly $3 per cupcake.
My fiance actually compared the taste as: "the same ones you could buy at CUB for 99 cents, but CUB's are better".
- Pros: Cute
- Cons: Not worth the $
Cute place, good cupcakes, a little pricy

My roommate and I were very excited to try this place out as it seemed like a very unique place. We tend to like those. So, after church yesterday, we decided to check it out with some friends. When I walked in, I immediately noticed the atmosphere, which I liked. It was quirky, cute, and not too loud. Often in buildings shaped as this one, the voices carry so much that you feel like you're eavesdropping on everyone else. Not the case. It was a good place to sit and chat with some friends.
Atmosphere aside, I found the cupcakes to be very good. I got one red velvet and one peppermint patty flavored cupcake. I found them to be very good. The cupcakes themselves were fairly average. I'm a baker so I compared them to the best cakes and cupcakes I've made. They were a littler drier than I prefer but not crumbly or horrible. I just tend to love really most cake/cupcakes. The flavor was great, texture aside. The thing that one me over was the frosting! The cream cheese frosting on the red velvet was the best I've ever tasted--rich, decadent, and very creamy. I would've taken a couple spoonfuls of that and been happy enough. The peppermint patty was great too. It was a white, dense-yet-light peppermint flavor covered in hardened chocolate (like a peppermint patty only more melty). It was very enjoyable.
The prices were slightly steap costing $2.50 for the more elaborate cupcakes, so I wouldn't recommend going for all your baked good needs. However, it is worth the money every once in a while, especially if you like unique places. I will be recommending it to my friends.
- Pros: Frosting!! and the cupcakes of course
- Cons: Price
Nasty and expensive
by Nolagirl30
If you love expensive mayo filled sandwiches, and dry eggy cupcakes this is the place for you! I went there with a friend to celebrate my 30th birthday. It cost over 30 dollars for 2 sandwiches and 2 cupcakes! My sandwich came dripping in mayo. I took it back to the counter and the staff was upset that they had to re-make it sans mayo. They were rude when they brought it back to the table, slamming it down without a word.
When it was time to eat my cupcake, I fould out that at this place a coconut cupcake consists of a dry white cake with merang frosting. So disgusting and so expensive!
average and over priced

The wait at this place was out of this world--it was approximately noon on a tuesday and the line was out of the door, yet there was only one girl ringing at the register. It took forever to move the line! Besides that, the barista took a ludicrously long amount of time to make the three drinks in front of me and then mine. By the time I had a chance to order he had already had three minutes to make the three drinks in front of mine and then I waited well over five minutes to receive a very average latte. The tuna was good but the bread seemed old and the amount of tuna was minimal compared to the incredibly thick bread--my sandwich was 75% bread! All in all the ridiculously high prices are not worth the wait and mediocrity. I won't even bother going back to buy a cupcake.
- Pros: cute interior, tons of seating, healthy food options
- Cons: abysmal service, ridiculously overpriced, average or below coffee
