Top Notch Jeweler

Two words, ?Top Notch?. Everything about Knox Jewelers is top notch from their staff to their selection and to their workmanship. Brian Knox?s attention to detail is exceptional and his help during this process was truly amazing. My 20 year wedding anniversary was coming and I knew I wanted to do something special to mark this milestone. I was in a strange predicament in that I was in the process of changing jobs and did not have time to comb the local jewelry stores in Charleston SC to find the ring that met what I felt were requirements in the diamond ring that I was searching for. I started looking online and didn?t really find what I was looking for until I came across Knox Jewelers through an online ring forum. Not only did they have the design that I was looking for, but they had a number of rings to choose from as well. It can be a little nerve racking to buy something with that kind of value over the internet, but Brian sent pictures, talked to me about diamonds, settings, cuts, and the whole nine yards. He even worked with me on how to keep this a surprise from my wife. Top Notch!!

Great out of town experience

The ring and service was outstanding. I was out of town getting an engagement ring and I read MANY reviews of Knox jewelers that were positive. I had a great experience and I give them the highest rating. I will consider them for my wedding bands as well. The engagement ring was fantastic. All the dealings over the phone and email were detailed and professional. Lots of patience was shown on their behalf. I would use them again without a doubt.

I come from Chicago where I can stop in Jeweler's row anytime, and I cannot to this day find a ring like this here.

Beautiful rings!

My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from Knox Jewelers and we couldn’t be happier with the ring or our experience working with Brian Knox! We live in Philadelphia, but found the ring on the Knox Jewelers website. We were looking for an antique-style ring and were really impressed with the many possibilities on the website. Each ring has a video and photographs from all different angles, which is very helpful when you can’t see them in person. The ring arrived in exactly three weeks with all of the appropriate documentation and is even more stunning than it appears in the photographs! I get so many compliments on it from coworkers and friends! Brian Knox was professional, reliable, and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend ordering an engagement ring from Knox Jewelers!

Jewelers that know their business and are easy to work with!

I have to say first of all that I am from San Francisco, and sure their are alot of jewelers out west, but I got referred to Knox from family member after seeing a ring they made for his wife and I was convinced to give them a call. I started with a quick sketch and description of what I wanted and with a few calls Brian was able to send me a computerized model of our ring that was really easy to look at and make adjustments to perfect. Once we finalized the design it only took a little over a month, the ring arrived and I have to say I was beyond excited to see the results, so I opened it right away. It looks fantastic and I cannot wait to give it to my wife, she will love it!

Great place to find something unique and great service!

My fiance and I found Knox last winter before we got engaged. My fiance wanted a good idea of what kind of ring I was looking for which was something antique in style, one of a kind, and with a yellow sapphire. I found Knox through looking online and was immediately impressed with the selection. I had a good feeling right away! We visited in December and started working with Brent. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. There was never any pressure to look at bigger rings, more expensive, etc. They brought in stones for us to look at with very quick turnaround and the quality was amazing. Also, they were very quick with the final product. We had just found the stone we were sure of and little did I know that my fiance was planning to pop the question within about 10 days from that time. He was totally fine with not being able to give me the final product ring when he asked but rather later, but Knox wanted him to be to give me my ring right away and were able to produce it in 1 week. It was a semi-custom piece...the "adorable" setting but with a custom crown to accommodate the cushion cut yellow sapphire we had selected. The final product is absolutely stunning and unlike anything any of friends have or anyone else's ring that I have seen.

We also got my fiance's wedding ring at Knox. Another awesome experience. We selected a titanium ring that was then sand blasted. The first ring, Knox was not happy with the result so ordered a new ring and did the process again. If they are not happy with the product, they will not sell it to you. In this case, we didn't even see the 1st ring. They didn't feel it was okay so went ahead right away and redid it.

We will definitely go back to Knox again!

Fantastic jeweler!

Before we became engaged, my husband and I did a fair amount of searching online for an engagement ring that we both loved. We were disappointed with so many websites until we were lucky enough to find Knox Jewelers. The website was easy to navigate and there were so many beautiful rings with pictures from every angle. At the time, I thought we were just getting ideas because we live in Massachusetts, and could not go to the store to look at the rings in person. Unbeknownst to me, my husband (who had really done his homework on diamonds, metals, etc) contacted Knox and found Brian Knox extremely personable, knowledgeable, and professional. Brian was happy to custom make one of his rings in platinum for us. On our engagement day, I was absolutely blown away by the detail and beauty of my ring. It is such a sparkler, and fantastically elegant. I could not be happier with it. (I've actually been out shopping and strangers have stopped me to tell me how beautiful it is...which feels pretty great). When it came time to order wedding bands, there was only one place I needed to look. This time I personally spoke with and emailed Brian, who again custom made my band in platinum. He always responded promptly to my emails, was so kind and pleasant on the phone, and even called me to tell me that he had shipped my ring out, letting me know when to expect it. He really went above and beyond in the customer service department. I am very grateful for everything that Brian and his staff have done. My two rings are just spectacular and I am so pleased and proud to have such high quality, elegant jewelry. At some point in the future, my husband and I will head out to MN to catch a Twins game or two (he's a humongous fan) and hopefully we'll have a chance to visit the store...I might need some earrings or a right hand ring while we're there. :O)

Knox Jewelers is fantastic!

After much searching, I found an art deco ring I loved on the Knox Jewelers website. I went to the Minneapolis store twice. I was so impressed by the designs, the knowledgeable owners, and the patient and timely responses to my questions.Most of all, I appreciated that there was no pressure or direction toward the more expensive stones or rings. They leave you alone until you have questions and then they couldn't be more helpful!

My finished ring is absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't have been happier with my experience at Knox.

Awesome Experience!!!

I could not be happier with my experience at Knox Jewelers. I purchased a custom engagement ring this spring. When I explained the elements I liked from a set of different designs, they were able to create the perfect picture of what I wanted. I went through the process without my girlfriend (I wanted it to be a surprise), which made it even more challenging. However, Knox was completely able to help me work though all of my excitement and concerns.

I found them very accessable via e-mail or telephone to answer my questions and make adjustments to the design before I completed my order. They were very patient as I considered different design and diamond options.

I will be visiting Knox for all future jewelery purchases!

Alternative options at a cost

They have a niche with design flexibility for the customer to get what they have in the back of their minds. Unfortunately, custom rings cannot be seen beforehand (risky). They have the same high quality in manufacture of rings found at competitors. Yes, there will be fewer of any of these designs around town. However, they lack the benefits of big stores in offering savings and value. Generally, ring/settings cost double and there is an extra $1,000 tacked on for one of their diamonds Vs their competitors. Couple this with the slow process of custom ring manufacturing and small quantities of in store diamonds to choose from are obstacles that a customer must compromise on. Yes, any diamond can be ordered, but each time this happens, time is lost. The rings are very beautiful and may be worth the extra time, effort, and cost.

• Pros: No pressure/design flexibility/they listen to the customer
• Cons: low value-(add 1K for diamond and 1K for ring Vs competition

Great Service and A Great Product!

I had a very old ring of my great-grandmother and I wanted to take the center diamond and create an engagement ring for my at the time girlfriend. I visited several other jewelers and they all refused or were going to charge me big time for doing it. I brought it in to Knox Jewelers and they said they would be more than happy to do it with very little extra cost. They helped me customize a ring using the center diamond that I provided and I couldn't have been happier with the results. The ring was absolutely amazing and it means so much more to us being able to use the diamond from a ring that had been in many family for generations! These guys are the best in the business! They will actually listen to what you want and allow you to give your own input. I never felt pressure to spend more money on something we didn't want or like. I will never go to another jeweler again. THANKS KNOX JEWELERS!
