Worth the Drive!
by Ernheart
While visiting family in Forest Lake, we happened upon Tasty Asia. What a place! I have never tasted such fresh ingredients and natural textures of food. The food really tasted as it you had a personal chef cooking for you at home. From the Cream Cheese Wontons to the LoMein, nothing was bad. I also tried the Chicken Salad, and it was unique to any other salad I have had before. I was especially impressed with the special diet sections, like gluten free dishes. It is really hard to find a place that really has something for everyone!
Living in St. Paul, I would make the drive once a week to Wyoming just to taste the fabulous creations at Tasty Asia. Believe me, you MUST try it! If the price of gas was lower, we certainly would visit Tasty Asia weekly!
P.S. You MUST try the No-Flour Chocolate Cake! It is heavenly!
- Pros: Fresh ingredients, Parking, Special Diet Options, Service

I found this asian take-out while driving on I35 north past Forest Lakes. I was hungry I had just missed Forest Lake exit, so I had to take next exit 135 in Wyoming (MN). After driving 1/4 mile I noticed the sign of Tasty Asia Take-Out. My wife is not a big fan of Chinese food. Never less we decided to stop in. WOW !!! That is the least I can say. A very clean little Asian Take-Out beautifully designed. We had a chance to meet the owner Diana. A very charming young asian lady. The cashier (Kelsey) suggested few items. So, we ordered a Sesame chicken, Eggrolls, and traditional Chinese chow mein. Let me tell you it was the best asian meal that we had ever experienced for a longtime. After, this wonderful meal, Kelsey presented us with a tray of dessert samples baked in the premises by Diana. Again Wow !!!!!! We had Tiramisu before in many of our favorite Italian restaurants, but Diana's was up there in quality and taste. But wait a minute, what does an Asian establishment serving quality Italian dessert?? Well, it turn out that Diana's favorite hobby is baking. So, Tasty Asia is offering also fresh baked dessert. My wife was delightful, and was so happy to have missed my exit otherwise we would not have found this little tiny take-out place that serves great fresh food. Finally, after 22 years of marriage, I got my wife to appreciate Asian food. I highly recommend take-out from Tasty Asia if you travel up north.
- Pros: Clean, friendly, fresh crisp vegetables.....and freshly baked desserts
- Cons: Limited seating. Excellent for take-out.
