Avoid scones and salads

This is a good place to go for excellent pastries and donuts. They are not good at making scones so this is not the place for a scone lover. Also, I was here once for lunch and ordered a salad. I was expecting that since they make bread here that they would have homemade croutons and offer bread with the salad but no. They just open up a bag-o-salad and dump it on a styrofoam plate. It's shouldn't even be on the menu - it's an embarrassment.

Great place for good desserts, and special delicacies.

They have wonderful soups, delicious salads, and wonderful coffee. Everything that I've had their has been fresh, and delicious. They have a selection of baked goods ranging from muffins, croissants, donuts, and various other wonderful things. They're bread is absolutely my favorite including everything ranging from olive, wheat, sourdough, etc is just amazing and fresh. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is calm, romantic, fun, and cozy. I'd recommend it to anyone trying to get a delicious lunch, breakfast, or even just a little snack. Edelweiss is a wonderful place to go to meet a friend for a warm cup of coffee on a cold chilly winter morning. They're highly recommended because they're local, friendly, and I enjoy going their as frequently as I can. I'd note they have the best Key Lime Pie that I've ever tasted. :)

Phenomenal food and service at a reasonable price!!!

Phenomenal sandwiches, soups, breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts at an extremely reasonable price!!! Perfect for a full meal or just a snack. The cakes for special holidays, birthdays and especially weddings are exceptional!! They are made to order and the service is very accomodating. They are determined to meet your every desire. Overall, Edelweiss exhibits both a friendly and fun atmosphere!

Best service in the twin cities!

Just make one trip to this bakery and you will be sold on it! The service, people, environment, and food are excellent!! Even if you live in the city, it's worth making the trip out to the south suburbs to this bakery! A must try at Edelweiss is their Olive bread! especially when you get it with the turkey provolone sandwich. Oh, and don't leave without trying at lease one of the baked goods! I'd recomment their almond croissant, Eau Clairs, or fruit mini's.
