I did a lot of research before selecting Dr. Thao for my breast aug. He is very kind, compassionate and a very skilled surgeon. I met with him after having a massive weight loss and wanted to regain some of my curve. He spent a great deal of time with me discussing options. He is a perfectionist and made sure I was comfortable with the risks as well as the benefits of my procedure. He and his wonderful staff made me very comfortable and reassured in my decision. I had a very speedy recovery and am absolutely thrilled with my results. I highly recommend him! Call him for a consult! And...not sure about the one star below. That does not sound like someone that really dealt with Dr. Thao!

Pros: Office is easy to locate, staff is awesome, financing options available

Its been almost half a year now since I got my surgery done. All the healing is finally over and I am overly excited about the new me, inside and out. I really love Dr. Thao's hospitality in his office. He's not only your doctor that will make you feel more satisfied with yourself, but he also listens well to your want's and need's. To anyone looking for a plastic surgeon, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Thao. His service is excellent and is affordable. They also have side options if you need some financing. If your interested in a procedure but isn't ready for it, just call him and have your first consult. You'll be astonished and learn more about what he has to offer! =)

The office looks nice, but other than that, he is not as great as people make him to be. A friend of mine recently came in for a microdermabrsion and an eye lift. Her face prior to getting the procedures done were healthier. Her face should've healed, but instead her face is smothered with rosacea and what it seems like to me, herpes. It is definitely not acne, zits, nor pimples. Her eyes were not lifted as the way she wanted, it looked exaclty the same. What kind of Doctor who charges that kind of amount and yet performed such a poor, poor job. This reminds me of Dr. Jan Adams who performed on Kanye West's Mother, who is NOT Board Certified. If you are desparate and cheap to get things done to look FAKE, PLASTIC, and Comestically unreal, then go for it and see how you turn out. They may charge a lot less than most Plastic Surgeons, but do you all think it's worth the money to look ugly forever???

I have recently had adominal plasty (tummy tuck with lipo) and have found the experience well worth it! Dr Thao is a very compassionate man and is with you through every step. He and his staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere they create is one of warmth and understanding. I highly recommend Dr Thoa to family and friends. I saw results immediately even with the swelling and as I am healing I am noticing more and am excited to go clothes shopping for the first time in years. The only problem is now that the experience has been soo good I am conteplating more work in the future for other areas and I just might have to hold off on the shopping spree!!!

Pros: location, parking, non judgemental staff

Dr. Thao is a great plastic surgeon - technically and aesthetically. I met with a few other doctors before I consulted with him about my tummy tuck. He listened to what I wanted and explained to me exactly how he could help me. His prices were very reasonable too - not sky high like some other surgeons in this area. His staff were great too - great service and worked with me and my busy schedule. I look great in all kinds of dresses now - no more fat and flabby skin to hide. Plastic surgery isn't just for movie stars - I'm considering a breast lift next. I send all my friends to Dr. Thao for things like facelifts, breast augmentations, even Botox.

Pros: Free parking; non-congested office location close to freeways; great staff; great doctor

Cons: No Saturday hours.

Dr. Thao and his staff are really supportive and are there to help me make the right decision. I am very satisfied with my breast reduction and liposuction. I havent felt better then ever. My backaches are gone and I fit into my favorite jean. I highly recommend Dr. Thao. He does a great job. He and his staff takes very good care of their patients. My friends and I are very happy. Thanks Dr. Thao.

Dr. David Thao is a very professional plastic surgeon and personable. He is a good listener and works together with his patients to achieve their beauty goals. He is able to explain procedures in simple terms so that they're easy to understand and he has very good hand-eye coordination. I got my eyes and my breast done by him recently and I'm very satisfied with both results. I've done a little research and I think he's one of the few plastic surgeons in the midwest that does great eylid surgery. I have friends who have gone else where for eyelid surgery and their eyes didn't turn out that great. I've also seen pictures of other surgeries he's done and they're pretty impressive. I highly recommend Dr. David Thao to anyone who's interested in cosmetic surgery expecially if you're in the Twin cities (Minnesota) area. You'll really like him and his staff.
