Hairstylist Extraordinare!

Dana Melander is a hairstylist at La Mode who "gets it". A friendly, attentive listener who then gets down to the business of hair. Every cut has been exactly what I wanted or even better (I have very straight, fine hair). I've even taken my two boys to her for hair cuts and been extremely pleased. My last appointment at La Mode was after work and I even got a complimentary glass of wine! It was lovely after a long day. I highly recommend her and La Mode Salon.

The best of the best!

I love getting my hair cut because it always feels so good to be pampered with a soothing wash and head and neck massage and leave EVERY TIME looking fabulous. LaMode Salon is the place I have come to since it opened and will continue to come to. My whole family (brother, husband, two daughters) have had the pleasure to know and become familiar with the awesome haircuts, colors and styles that Jackie gives. We love her! Keep up the good work Jackie and LaMode. You rock!

Laurie is awesome!

I just recently moved to the Twin Cities from Chicago and was desperate to find a great stylist who could match the type of hair cut and color I had in Chicago. I was given Laurie's name from a new friend I met at the gym. I have been to Laurie 3 times now and am happier than I have ever been with the way my color and cut look. I receive so many compliments now on my hair! I will never go to another stylist here in the Twin Cities, Laurie rocks!

Consistently great services with Laurie

Laurie has been styling my hair since I moved to Minneapolis two years ago and I would never go to anyone else. When I moved here from Madison I inquired at work for names of stylists and she was highly recommended for a cut and color and I know why. She listens carefully to what you want and makes professional recommendations that bring out your best look. She is a fun person and her personality is so positive that the styling experience is always uplifting and I leave feeling on top of the world.

My Favorite stylist: Laurie!

I have been seeing Laurie for a long while now and I have nothing but rave reviews! I am a young female professional and Laurie always has great tips for my cut and style after I tell her what I have in mind. She is professional while also insighful on what is chic and in-style. She also makes my trip to the salon relaxing and fun.

On top of everything, I have never received so many compliments on my color and my cut since I have been seeing Laurie!

Brooke Is the Best!

I followed Brooke from another salon, and have referred friends and relatives to her who now swear by her too.

For several years now, without fail, for the first two weeks after I have seen Brooke for a haircut I get at least 3 or 4 people asking me who does my hair. Now that she's closer to the cities, it's even more convenient and I know even more of my friends will start seeing her.

Shawn is a hair genius!

I have never been so happy with a cut or hair color in my life. Shawn actually listens to what you want and executes it perfectly. She has also given me great direction as far as what will or won't work with my hair type and has a tip, trick or product to solve all of my hair problems. She has a great personality and I always have a blast while I'm in the salon.

I just had the best experience with my hair! Thank you so much to Dana! I am 43 and Giddy about my haircut and color! I am one to avoid mirrors and now I cant stop looking in them.....Dana is truly an Artist!

You have to go to Brooke!!

I highly recommend Brooke. I've been seeing her for years and I've never had a bad haircut or color! I followed Brooke from another salon and can't imagine having to find a new stylist. Not only is Brooke wonderful to talk to, but she gets hair and knows what looks good.

The last time I went to see her I was having a horrible day and was almost in tears by the time I arrived to get my hair done. By the time I left I as on cloud 9 cause my hair was WONDERFUL (oh and LaMode has Wine)!

La Mode Salon: Brooke Valley

I first met Brooke over 7 years ago when she was in training at Ficcocello's Training Salon. I have been her client since then. Brooke now works at La Mode Salon. I am always pleased with Brooke's attention to detail and her honest opinion about what works and what may not. I am perfectly comfortable showing up for a color or cut appointment not really knowing what I want because I know Brooke will steer me in the right direction. Brooke is creative. She has colored my hair every color from platinum blonde to dark brown and I have loved them all.

I have referred Brooke to friends. One friend who is very particular about her hair, let's only Brooke cut it. She notes that the way Brooke cuts is top notch and she won't let anyone else touch her hair but Brooke. I feel the same way.
