All of these reviews sound like they were written by the same person. Every single one of them sounds like they're advertising for this place by stating the costs and procedures. Not to mention, the typing style is the same. Here is my opinion. This place is only mediocre. There are far better offices in Edina, St. Paul and Eden Prairie! Plus, they don't charge you an arm and a leg. The staff at these other offices are far more knowledgable and have been in the industry for decades. I'd rather trust them.

Great location. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. As a patient that suffers from rosacea, I have completed 3 treatments and my skin looks amazing. I would recommend Begin with your skin to everyone who is looking for a medical spa.
Pros: Great service
Cons: none

I am a 26 year old women who recently had a baby. Like most mothers, I was having a very hard time losing the baby weight. I went to Begin With Your Skin Medspa and had a consultation with Bill about Lipodissolve. He looked at my stomach and said I was a great candidate for Lipodissolve and recommended having it done to tighten my stomach back up. I had it done the same day. I have now had three treatments on my stomach and sides and have lost almost 2 inches! I couldn't be happier with my results. I have also started laser treatments with Kara on my stretch marks. Thanks to Begin With Your Skin Medspa I am finally starting to be more comfortable in my body and appearance. I thought I would never be able to wear a swim suit again after having a baby, but after my lipodissolve and laser treatments I will be in one soon!!

Very pleasant and wonderful. I was amazed at how thorough the laser tech was in her explanations. I was treated like royalty, like I was the the only customer she ever had. She lavished me with care detailing for me what to expect at each little step or laser pass. You just don't get customer service like this very often. On top of the hopitality, the knowledge and professionalism I encountered here was excellent.
Pros: Hospitality and Knowledge
Cons: I have NOTHING negative to say

I have used Kara to have some blemishes removed from my face and body. She is super nice and seems very knowledgable. Like they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating and as far as the results are concerned I couldn't be happier. I absolutely would (and do) recommend them.
Pros: Great results, nice people

I am surprised at how effective your laser treatment is in tightening my skin and causing new collagen to fill in my face cavities. I have lived almost 65 years on this planet. I am an outdoor girl. My skin has been thinning giving me a feeling of hopelessness for ever regaining a youthful, soft appearance. That is until I saw your ad in the paper and thought I'd give it a try. I have done exfoliates, a chemical peel, a facelift 15 years ago, and I use enzymes to slough the dry skin cells weekly. After 6 treatments I watch myself getting younger. It continues after the treatments stop! Even my neck looks less dry and aged. Thank you for your ad announcing your service that is innovative and safe. This laser collagen enhancer is a wonderful discovery. Dr. B. Bagley
Pros: Very Pleasant, Extremely Professional Staff

I've shaved and got razor burn. Waxed and got ingrown hairs. I've always been curious about laser hair removal: Is it really permanent? How many treatments does it take? What does it really cost? After dropping about $400 over the course of ten months getting bikini waxes, and ending up with deep in-grown hairs-a common side effect-I figured it couldn't cost much more to try laser treatment. There was no going back to shaving-there's nothing like having a pro clean up an area that are not too easy to see. I was going forward and high-tech. I shopped around and found that clinic prices do vary. I consulted with my doctor in Mankato before choosing the clinic she recommended, South Valley Laser. It was a better fit for me-less clinical, with a friendly staff and a technician with whom I felt comfortable. Raena explained the procedure to me without trying to sell it and kept me updated on my progress for the next six months. After my first bikini treatment, I even decided to splurge for my underarms. But on to what everybody asks me: How badly does it hurt? I prepared for the worst and was happily surprised when it was much less painful than waxing. Most clinics say each laser pulse feels like a rubber band snap. I thought it felt much weaker than that. The pain factor greatly depends on the laser-for instance, how long are the wavelengths emitted and the laser pulses? My technician used a laser with a cold tip, so my skin was cooled immediately before the hot laser pulses. I had better results on my bikini line than on my underarms, which required touch-up shaving about every other week. I'm planning to see Raena again soon for a touch-up laser zap-and maybe a consultation on leg hair. I bought a package. I found that most clinics charge between $75 and $300 per treatment depending on which body area you're having treated. For five treatments on my bikini line and underarms, I paid only $800.
Pros: Nice niche Eagan Medi Spa
Cons: Laser Hair Removal is not permanent, but it's close.

I travel quite a bit and I have been privileged to visit several medical spas around the world. I enjoy coming back to South Valley because of the friendly comfortable atmosphere. I never feel like I have to dress a certain way to feel welcomed. The staff is very experienced. I purchased a series of laser hair removal and laser genesis treatments. Genesis really improved the texture of my skin and diminished other problem areas I had. As for the hair removal treatments, I had satisfactory results in 2 to 3 treatments with over 70% of the hair removed.
Pros: Nice experience, staff is very informative

I've had problems with underarm sweating for years. I tried everything from expensive anti-perspirants to elecric current (treatment) with no success. After the Botox treatment I could see the results in minutes, no more embarassing underarm stains or wet patches on my shirts. I would like to thank Dr. Anderson and her staff for giving me a new sense of self esteem and not having to think twice before wearing my favorite clothes.
Pros: Just south of the Mall of America, convenient
