Excellent Memphis BBQ

Memphis is a dry, slow bake, black peppery style of BBQ that is my favorite. Great little neighborhood place that really values good food.

Excellent Fried Chicken

This place makes some great fried chicken. Colonel Sanders fried chicken doesn't even begin to compare the stuff that this place turns out. The BBQ here is good, but nothing spectacular. Overall it is a nice local restaraunt. Take out only.

PRETTY GOOD

Not too shabby is what I would say.

I would recommend this place for a little bbq fix .

It's something that would be a great intro to bbq.

I have had bbq from all over the south,memphis,all over texas, kansas city, etc. and consider roosters a respectable rib joint.

• Cons: Not a "destination" bbq joint( no seating)

Best fried chicken and BBQ!!

My boyfriend and I went there the other night and everything was perfect. Their fried chicken was so nice and crispy, the flavor was just perfect. Ribs were so tender and had good sauce on. It's the perfect little neighborwood BBQ spot!!

Good BBQ

I have been to KC, Texas, and all over the South and Rooster's is right up there with any of them. As a matter of fact I prefer them over Corky's ribs in Memphis. The best thing on the menu is a BBQ sandwich Memphis style with cole slaw right on the sandwich and served with fries. The place is right off of 35E on Randolph and is a hole-in-wall but when you get out of the car you know it was worth the trip. They have just two booths so I recommend take out. And before I forget they have good fried chicken too.

i have been all over the country looking for good ribs, texas, Kansas city,memphisnorth varolina,georgia, -----roosters is as close as i have found up here. i have been to Market bbq

3x i WILL not waste my money there again

The place is about as simple as one can make it, extremely modest digs and no table service. But the ribs are very good and more distinctive than Famous Dave's (as well as cheaper). If you are going to clog your arteries, you might as well do it here...
