I am so happy to come back to Accolades! I have visited a few times before and loved it. I was greeted last Saturday morning by smiles from the front desk and stylists (one in particular who was quite handsome-OMG hullo!) offering me delicious teas, water, and mimosas...guess which option I chose.... Jenny did a fantastic job cutting my hair and styling it and listening to my needs. I am in LOVE with my hair again. She taught me how to style it on my own. GREAT WORK, JENNY! Accolades does a wonderful job of throwing in "little extras" that keep us clients coming back for more! Mimosas? SERIOUSLY???!! YES! Did I mention that I got my makeup done for free by the fabulous Eddie? Because I DID and I've never been so happy with a salon's service in my life. You guys have me for life and I'm singing your praises to all my friends too!

This e-mail is so long overdue but better late than never. I have had Pa Da cut and highlight my hair 4 times and each time it gets better and better.....She is so passionate about her job and remembers all of quirks that I have regarding colour, the length of my bangs etc. I have lived in the US, Canada and Europe and it is amazing to say that she has cut my hair better than high end salons in New York, Toronto, and London!!! I have lived in Mn for less than 2 years and have tried several salons in the cities and have been very disappointed so i was extremely happy to find Pa Da at Accolades. I was very nervous to try yet another stylist but Pa da put me at ease and has taken me from the usual trim to going to a cut that is so updated and flattering .I get so many compliments EVERY time she cuts and colours my hair. I work in the medical field and consider a stylist just as important as a doctor.......it all depends on the referral and i can tell you that you will not be unhappy with Pa da. Accolades is lucky to have such talent. I now look forward to my hour drive to town for my haircut because I leave with a haircut and color i love, can manage myself and looks great even when i style it.

I loved Accolades! I've now had two haircuts there, and would love to go back! I have very curly hair, and my stylist, Amber, knew just what to do with it and what would look best for me. This salon has a polished look but an inviting feel. The people welcome you and want you to feel at home; from offering you a beverage when you check in, to massaging your head while your hair gets washed, and putting a soothing aromatherapy hot towel over your face during the process. Just in getting my hair done, I felt pampered. It is a bit pricier than I would have liked ($50 for a cut!), but if you get your hair cut about every month and a half like me, it's worth it. Everyone I've known who's gone there, including myself, has had an amazing experience. Check them out!

New to salon and LOVE my new cut and color courtesy of Danielle Nicole, mimosa Saturdays are the best!!!! great service and warm towel on face was pleasant and unexpected and a hand massage with a paraffin dip left my hands feeling amazing. over all great salon, atmosphere, and very fun stylist, I will for sure be back!!

Pros: fun stylist!

Cons: none that I see.

When is a bob not any old bob? When it gets done right! I saw Rob and boy did he give me the right bob. I have been to juut, rocco's and all the rest and I have never got the bob I needed because I usally don't write reviews like this but accouple days latter my hair just falls right into place with very little effort. I don't know where these negotive people are coming from, Accolades goes above and beyond anywhere else I have ever been. I got treated like royalty the whole time I was there. Rob and I talked about what I wanted from my hair, he even asked me about how I work with my hair so he could give me the bob I needed. Than I got the BEST (and I mean BEST) shampoo of my life. THEY PUT A HOT TOWEL UNDER YOUR NECK, tell me who else does this? And when you thought that hey this feels good Rob put another warm towel with blue oil? onmy face and I was in heaven with a massage that would make you week in the knees. This was the best money I have spent on a hair cut in a long long time, so if you are looking for a bob I say you should go and see Rob. I know I'll be back there again and again, and I am going to let all my girl friends know this is the place to go, and especially Rob. THANK YOU oh so much Rob and ACCOLADES I LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair!

Emily was amazing - I came in with damaged hair and instead of making me feel hopeless she suggested a condition treatment. My hair felt and looked great. Next we poured over pictures to determine the best "blonde" for me. I am thrilled with my color and my husband was stunned and loved it too! In sum, I will be back to Emily. oh and Eric (bird) is the most fun at reception! I love Accolades!!

I came in last Sunday to get my hair colored and cut. Emily B was my stylist. I really liked her work because she took her time to chat with me and find out what I would like to do with my hair. I appreciate that because I wanted her to take her time to find the best color for my hair, which she did. She is very personable and I just felt connected with her. I have been to the salon once before and didn't really like the haircut I received from a different stylist because I didn't feel that she took the time to really listen to me. I liked Emily B's work a lot this time during my visit and I will be seeing her again for my future visit. I did spend a lot of money on my hair this time, but I didn't mind because the color and the cut looked great and Emily B provided me with great customer service.

I am not a complainer and I waited 2 months to write a review. I won't mention names because it was made clear to me that anyone getting a bad review would be in deep doo doo. I was OK with my highlighting. It was not exactly what I wanted, but in hindsight I felt that I did not make myself clear to the colorist. The color was close enough and the colorist was very nice. My hair cut was great, one of the best I have ever had. But, when I asked her to trim my bangs she was hesitant. it wasn't until I got home that I realized that my bangs were fried by the colorist. I lost about a 1/3 or more of my bangs, they just fell out and the rest of them turned orange. Anyway, it was not bad enough that I could not work around it, and the rest of my hair was fine. But, I felt as if I could not complain because the colorist was so concerned that I not give her a bad review when I told her I was not completey satisfied with the color. I did not want to go back when I saw what happened to my bangs out of concern for her getting into trouble. Everyone makes mistakes and I am sure it will not be her last. One last little thing. I realize that a salon is not going to look spotless during the course of a day, however, I noticed that the areas where the stylists/colorists work had not had a good cleaning for some time. These young ladies are very busy, so I hope management does not expect them to stay after hours to do it. Hire it done if that is the case.

I went to Pa Da and Janelle for the first time yesterday and I love my hair. I was very nervous and anxious but both Pa Da and Janelle were very helpful and friendly. First we started with a consultation. Then only after making sure I had made up my mind did the color processing begin. I couldn't believe I was offered a hand massage while getting my hair done! And as if that was not enough, I got a foot rub too at the pedicure chairs. By the end of my second cup of delicious hot cocoa I was ready for the shampoo bowl. There, I got a warm towel around my neck and a scalp massage. I go to spas as often as I can and never have I received such great service anywhere else. Thank you ladies, you were a lot of fun see you in seven weeks or so

Looking for a great stylist to get the posh spice or any latest hollywood cuts or updos? Ask for Seshia at Accolades. Got my hair cut there last week and loving it. Definitely better than Rocco's salon in service and price.
