Great server, food ok

I was disappointed in the food, really. The chicken kiev was dry, which I don't know how it could be with the liquid inside, the rice pilaf was dry and bland, and the lettuce at the salad bar had brown edges. On the other hand our server Pat was extremely attentive and nice and the rolls were very good. I found it to be supper clubish with a 70's decor. It was just ok.

We had a wonderful server! She was efficient and very helpful. I disagree with anything that says this is a supper club though. The restaurant side felt more like a family eatery than a supper club. The chicken kiev was the best I've found! The other two people with me found their meals just "ok". I just looking for something a little more like a supper club.

Exceptional Service

If you are looking for a restaurant where the owner truly appreciates you as a customer, you will LOVE this place. Mike is an owner that works just as hard as his staff, and once you meet him you will go back just to talk to him. He is truly committed to his guests. He have very loyal employees as well, which means he is doing something right. The Prime Rib is wonderful. Melts in your mouth. The value is unbelievable for the amount of food you get.

A wonderful place!

This place has a wonderful "everyone is welcome" atmosphere. Everyone from Senior Citizens to young families to "Bikers" are found dining in this affordable, friendly, casual to dressy eatery. It reminds me of the old supper clubs. (plates are garnished with a spiced apple ring and they have pate' on the salad bar!) Prices range is around $8-$25. Each meal comes with salad bar, cup of soup, bread and choice of potato. You can get a good steak dinner for $11! The waitstaff has always been very nice, welcoming, and accomodating. Don't be surprised if the owner comes to your table to check up on you too! For those that are interested they also offer Karaoke most nights (not Monday or Tuesday for sure) in their bar area around 9:00. The people running that are also very nice and a lot of fun. Try Gulden's. You won't be sorry!
