In Short
The Roseville Skating Center consists of the Roseville Arena, a year-round, indoor ice arena with seating for 1,950 spectators; and the John Rose Oval, an outdoor, 110,000-square-foot skating surface with a state-of-the-art scoreboard, skate rental and sharpening, a warming house and a 400-meter track. During the summer, the Oval is divided into an inline hockey rink and the Aggressive Skate Park, open to skateboarders and inline skaters.

The best thing about the Oval is that you can enjoy skating outdoors even when the temperature is up in the forties because the ice temperature is maintained by coolant piped underneath.
- Pros: great ice, not crowded on weekda
- Cons: crowded on weekends, poor staffing, minimal consessions
