Best food and tremendous service

Caravelle is our FAVORITE restaurant! The ladies that work there are SO sweet and remember you after just being in once or twice. The food is fantastic!! We love their eggrolls, sesame chicken, egg foo young, hot and sour soup, moo shu pork, and lo mein. Actually, we love everything we have tried there. The best thing is every dish has a unique flavor. It's not like some chinese restaurants where everything tastes the same. Everything is cooked and flavored perfectly. We can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

You can't go wrong with the comfortable and welcoming feeling you get from the staff and the consistently delicious food.

• Pros: Incredibly nice staff, delicious food, quick service, great for families
• Cons: Can't think of even one!

Go during lunch

The buffet during lunch is always excellent, but I went once during dinner and ordered from the menu. They kept putting take out orders in front of the dining people. We waited well over 45-50 minutes and when I asked if they had started on my order, they said they were just getting started. I asked them to cancel my order and the waitress sort of hid in the kitchen until I left. That was pretty disappointing.

• Pros: Fresh food during lunch buffet
• Cons: take out orders seem to be priority over in house

GREAT Food, GREAT Service!!

They have has some of the BEST food and service at Caravelle in Little Canada. The Moo Shu is unbelievable, and the egg rolls are amazing. The veggies are always crunchy, the shrimp is huge, and we generally have enough leftovers for a meal or two. It has a friendly atmosphere, and though it's a little small, there is plenty of room around the tables, so you won't feel claustrophobic. I recommend this to anyone who wants to try Vietnamese food, at an inexpensive price, and an easy location to get to.

• Pros: Fantastic tasting fresh food, good service, lots of food per order.
• Cons: A little small, but still relatively roomy.

Great Food!

I have feeling when the first review on here was written the place must have been under different management. I have to agree with Erader85, I think the Caravelle has some of the best Vietnamese/Thai food I have ever eaten. The food is spicy, but not too spicy, it has just enought tang to keep your tastebuds interested. The dishes are fresh and not overpowering. The service is wonderful and I have not met sweeter, more welcoming employees than the ones at Caravelle. They have a lunch buffet that is small but very appetizing and the dinner menu is wonderful. Best of all it's very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the Caravelle to anyone looking for a casual atmosphere with tasty food.

WHAT?!

I could'nt disagree more, I think The Caravelle has to be some of the best Vietnamise food I have ever eaten. The vegetables are always fresh and crunchy, the sauces are wonderful, the prices are reasonable and the service is great. I work near by and often go to lunch there. The place is always packed, and almost everyone is a retuning customer. I would highly reccomend The Caravelle to anyone wanting fresh Vietnamise food.

A Horrible Mistake - We All make One

The service is lackadaisical, when its not rude. The food will not kill you - that is the best I can say. I don't want to be all negative - so let me say sratight out that the ice water was cold and refreshing. I almost burst out laughing when the waitress barked if we wanted to box the leftovers.
