VERY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE. I was very disappointed with the service my friend and I received. In particular with "Israel" who acted like the customer is a bother. First, we asked for help regarding the food we were going to order, to which we got a flat "...a kabob is a Kabob..." Israel needs to realise we all do not belong to the same culture and may not be familiar with the food, but are willing to try different cuisines hence going to the restaurant. We had to keep sermoning for him to get our order, even though there was a total of 4 customers in the place. After waiting almost 40 minutes for 1 main course, we Inquired what was taking so long to which Israel replied " do you want your meat cooked or raw...so wait for it to be cooked." Shortly after, he brought the order and pushed it infront of me and stomped off, while there were so many dishes from our appetizers/mint tea all over the table. My friend and I had to clear the dishes and put them on another table to create room to eat. As for the food: chicken kabobs were overly salty and the basmati rice was over done the salad was average. I would not recommend this place!!!!

Fantastic Lunch Buffet!. A group of my co-workers and I came for their lunch buffet and belly dancing last Friday and we were more than impressed! Their buffet is pretty extensive with a couple different salads and soups. A lot of what you would order on their menu was featured in their buffet such as the hummus, falafil, spinach pies, kabobs, gyros. They had moussaka that day, which I love! Oh, and there was lamb shank! yum! We were all so happy with the choices they had and the price was amazing! We also were able to enjoy the belly dancing! Fantastic! Love the Cruise!

Always Great- Awesome food and top service. My wife and I have been going to the Mediterranean Cruise for years. It is one of our favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities. Every time we dine there, they never disappoint. The food is always so delicious and great. We have probably tried just about everything on their extensive menu, but I really love their shrimp Casablanca- a shrimp stir-fry with mushrooms, onions, pine nuts over rice. My wife is in love with their lamb rack and shrimp kabobs. We almost never skip a dinner there without hummos and the flamming cheese! So good. But it is Jamal and the staff that always keeps us coming. We are always treated like family. Great place all around.

Great Place. This place is Great!!! We being going here since they moved to this new location. Everyone who works there are very friendly and they always make time to stop by to talk to you and see how are you and if you need anything else on your table.

Food is delicious. Shiskabob is the best (beef). Doesn't matter what you try on their menu you are not gonna be disappointed.

Come on Friday night or Saturday night and you will have fun for sure. Number 1 place to be at with your friends/family.

There is no words. You guys are the best!!!

Perfect Date Night!. Came in for the first time to the Mediterranean Cruise Cafe last night. Had a Blast! My husband and I wanted to be a little more adventurous for date night and the Mediterranean Cruise Cafe seemed like the perfect choice. No regrets there! The food was great! We wanted to try a variety of their food, so the waiter suggested the supper appetizers for two. LOTS OF FOOD! Gyros, falafil, hommos, grapeleaves, the flaming cheese, spinach pies, greek salads, a parsley and mint salad. It was fabulous! We also were lucky to have caught a belly dancing show. How fun! I even got my husband to get up on stage with me and try some moves! We had the best time!

Notice something wrong, anyone?. How would you feel if you're a black person walking into a place decorated with large portraits showing the worst stereotypes of black people? Or a white person walking into a bar that shows pictures of the white people lynching a person of color? I'm sure you'd be outraged, and the place would probably not be open for long unless they change their themes.

To a person from the Middle East, this cafe panders to Westerners by magnifying the worst aspects of Arab culture: belly dancing and drinking. For those who do not know, belly dancing is the Arab counterpart to strip dancing in America. Arabs consider it very humiliating and objectifying to women. So to walk into a place that makes it seem like all there is to being Arab is belly dancing and drinking is quite offensive and should be viewed that way. The reputation of Arabs in this country is suffering quite enough from stereotypes like this, and the owner should know better than to make it worse just for the sake of profits.

Very disgraceful and disingenuous. The food is not that great either. Several Middle Eastern places on Central Avenue offer better tasting Middle Eastern food.

Belly Dancing and Salsa!. I tried the Mediterranean Cruise Cafe for the first time with my boyfriend on Saturday night. We live fairly close, so we decided to go have some cocktails. We walked in before 9pm and the place was packed! I felt like we were in a club downtown! After a halfhour or so, we finally got a place at the bar. We ordered some yummy cocktails from our sweet bartender and watch the belly dancing! First time for my boyfriend and I to see belly dancing! After belly dancing, they had salsa! We decided to stay around and have more cocktails and appetizers. Everything was great and so much fun! Definitely will be returning!

Great Lunch Buffet!. Just stopped in to the Mediterranean Cruise this week with some co-workers for lunch. We recently heard about their lunch buffet and thought we would try it out. We were all more than happy about making the decision to go to the Med. Cruise for lunch. It was EXCELLENT. The buffet basically serves all the classics on the menu plus a few chef specials. We each probably had three or four plates. We were stuffed, but luckily had some room for their delicious baklava. If you are looking for a great place to go for lunch, go to the Med. Cruise! The price is great and the food is amazing!

A true five star experience!. I have been living in the Twin Cities my entire life and only recently been out to Burnsville to try the Mediterranean Cruise Cafe. Over the years, I have heard so many great things about this restaurant, but never got the chance to go and try it. I made reservations for a group of girls and I last month on a Saturday night. First of all, the establishment from the outside is just AMAZING! When we walked in, we were all in awe. I don't think I have seen a restaurant so beautiful! The place was packed. We had reservations at 7pm and we were seated around 7:15pm. Our table was close to the belly dancing stage, so we had a great view of the shows. From then on, the night was perfect. Our server was a young gentleman that I believe was related to the owner of the place. Since we were all not very familiar with Mediterranean food, he guided us through the menu. He ordered us a variety of food for the table, so we could all try different items off the menu. We were all blown away by the food! So delicious! I have had hummus before many times, but this place makes the best hummus I've ever tried! We had gyros, the flaming cheese, Greek salads, kabobs, lamb rack, Mediterranean stir fry
