Serum's sewage

We literally had to leave because the upstairs bathroom was leaking through the ceiling tiles onto our table....the staff said it was condensation from pipes, but regulars confirmed Gary Serum has Roto-Rooter out quite often for the sewer problem....I also heard a customer complain to his partner Doc about the issue, and he said "It's just sewer water"....WTF.....I guess they know about the problem, but they are too cheap to fix it.....Gary would rather sit at his bar and get drunk I guess. Ask anybody that was there Friday night 4-24-09....that is why you could not get seated.

Best Wings

I have been to many wing places in the Greater Twin Cities but this is the best. They have amazing flavors and lots of them. Out of the 10 times I have been their the wing were only slightly over cooked once. It is worth the trip to anoka, especially if you thing Sweeny's or Rynon's has good wing. The BBQ is better than any other. They combine it with Chernobyl to make my favorite mix. I have never had bad services but I don't think that is the strong point here. The patio is great in the summer. The sampler is great but the wings could be larger. They are BW3 sized. You can't beat the flavor.

blah food, slow service, terrible owner

I usually am not a passionate enough person even if the food is bad to actually write a review at all. This is an exception because I found the TRI-suck of minnesota. Not only was our food lacking terribly, but we got it late and the server seemed to have been released after greeting us and did not inform the other servers that we existed

THEN the owner Mr. Serum was nothing but arrogant and annoyed when approaching our table for, what we thought, was suppose to be an apology. He apparently has a sick case of HUGE FISH LITTLE POND syndrome. In his case, this pond was his scummy watering hole known as Serums.

NEVER AGAIN.

THEY HAVE THE RUDEST WATIRESS THERE ON SATURDAYS SHE WAS UNREAL ,TALK ABOUT NO HELP . IF YOU WANT EVERYTHING SCREWED UP AND HAVE TO OREDER TWICE GO THERE .

WE DID LIKE THE FOOD WHEN IT DID FINALLY GOT TO US ,, SO WE THOUGHT WE WOULD TRY IT OUT AGAIN ON SUNDAY THINKING SHE WOULD NOT BE WORKING !! BIG MISTAKE!!! NOW THE DIMWIT!!! WAS THE BARTENDER ,,, LET ME TELL YOU !!!! THEY NEED TO GET RID OF THIS ONE !!!

definatally if you like wings and ribs...this place is a must! its a great first date place if you like wings and ribs. they also have ggood bands on the weekends and an up-stairs deck!CHECK IT OUT!

Great Wings and Ribs!

Right off Main Street in downtown Anoka, Serum's is convenient, but it certainly wont win any awards for ambiance. However, thats not why youre going there. They have great Ribs and Wings! The sauces are original and delicious. Both times I had ribs there, they were fall-off-the-bone good. The portions arent small either. They also have fairly reasonable drink prices and happy hour specials.
