User Reviews for Simonson's Salon & Day Spa

3 Star Rating: Average

I went to Simonson's for four years. Each year the cost of my stylist rose by several dollars until a twenty minute haircut (I have short hair) including dry and style was $48. This was for a trim! If I was changing the style, etc, I could have seen that cost but not for a simple trim. It was $65 to color my hair so I decided I would try some of the other salons in the area. I found them to be just as good for a lot less. Look at the reviews for Tres Jolie and they're less expensive. I won't be back.

Pros: None

Cons: Rude service from the reception staff, increasing costs

I have been to most of the Simonson's Salons and they are all very inviting and great on service. I have tried several stylists and found a great person in Maple Grove. They are not too stuffy, yet have a very acomplished staff.

I went to Simonson's for the first time last week and was absolutely pampered from the time I walked in the door until I left. I love this place and will be back for sure. It is hard to find a salon now days that does a really good job from start to finish. This is it for me. I am SOLD! Thanks for a great experience.

Pros: service, products, pampering

Cons: none

OK, I've given this place a couple tries and it just doesn't cut it. I have been treated rudely by the reception staff more than once. When I called management to complain, I was ignored. My gel nails do not look great, (poor smile lines and uneven white). And my hair is really bad, bleached out color and the cut does nothing but go flat. In my opinion, this is a chain salon with quality similar to Great Clips but much more expensive. I would NoT recommend this place.

Cons: Skill, Price, Attitude

I love Shelly, she does such a great job waxing. It is done in a relaxed enviornment and she is very socialable. I highly reccomend going to her. Her prices are very low but she does a great job! Eyebrows are only 15! Where at other salons I have paid 25 and up!

Pros: Inexpensive
