The Lone Doughnut Cafe ( Lone Donut Cafe) has been evicted after 26 years in the minneapolis skyway. The Lone Doughnut Cafe was ordered to vacate in a court order dated August 17, but after negotiations, are able to remain until August 31. please visit lonedoughnut.see-oh-em which will be updated by friends through Spring 2007.

The Healthiest Food in the Skyway

It's ironic that the only place I've found to purchase really healthy lunch food bills itself "The Lone Doughnut Cafe." While tempted by the authentic Boston Creams, I stuck to my trendy health-type-shake, yogurt and soup. All food was fresh, well flavored and worth my five buck lunch allowance. Considering it caters to the literal downtown lunch rush, I feel I did get slightly more than I paid for, icky public seating and all.

• Pros: fresh food, inexpensive, skyway access
• Cons: bizarre seating
