Was NOT Impressed
by beaches28
I was not a huge fan of this store. I am a plus size woman and could not try on any of the samples in my dressing room. The sales lady kept bringing in size 8 dresses and would insist that they would fit. I am a size 16 and knew they were going to be to tight. The sales lady kept pushing me into trying on these sizes. By the time I left the store I was in tears. I was really hoping to find a dress there, but with my experience there, I will never be back.
- Cons: pushy sales people, not helpful

Hi Laura, Everything looks great! Thank you so much!! I'm so excited to see these dresses in person! I was very nervous about using you for my wedding dress originally. When I received my dress without any problems and you helped me with your outstanding level of professionalism, there was not a doubt in my mind that I wanted to use you for my bridesmaids as well. I'm telling all my other friends about you! Thank you again! Amanda NC

Bought my bridesmaids' dresses from you last year. We were married in St. Augustine, Florida at The Lightener Museum. The wedding was beautiful and the girls felt like princesses in their dresses. Thank you! You guys were so helpful in suggesting which dresses I needed to put a rush on, and sizing. The girls each chose their own dress since we were dealing with alot of different ages, and we tied everything together nicely, I think. Kim

Each visit to Rush's Bridal was always pleasant and the service was great. I was promptly informed when the gowns I ordered were available for fittings and pick-up. The staff is professional and I felt that they really paid attention to my needs as a Bride; It was not a stressful process. They have a gown for every price point. I LOVE MY GOWN!!!

Perfect service!

Perfect service!!! I had been to another shop to find bridesmaid dresses for my bridal party. We had an appointment at this other shop and still felt like Cattle. From the moment I called Rush's to set up our first appointment I knew that the service would be WAY better than the service I received at a "top" bridal shop. Thank you for making the experience of shopping for bridemaid dress stress free for not only me but my whole bridal party!

I purchased my gown and bridesmaids dresses at Rushs. Both experiences were great. I knew which gown I wanted to purchase before going to Rushs, but I had no idea what I wanted for bridesmaids dresses. The selection was extensive and Mrs. Rush was so helpful in finding and suggestions styles I would like. I would recommend Rushs to anyone. Thank you!
Appointment set, had to cancel
by mnmom26
I had to call Rush's to reschedule my appointment and the woman who called me back was very sweet and understanding in her message and I recieved a thank you for calling them to let them know. And they casually welcomed me to call back once my entire party could come with to Rush's.
It was a pleasant surprise in regards to what I have read on this board.
A little courtesy and respect can go a long way.
From someone who has worked in the wedding retail world: always call to see if a shop knows it will be particularly busy on a certain day/ time- set an appointment if necessary/ requested by a shop. This can affect their staffing and their ability to work with you and focus on your group. Not saying that people don't do this- but it's just polite. Also, if you cannot make an appointment- call- that way if they do have a walk in they will be able to assist them because they know you are not coming at the specified time/day.
- Pros: good phone etiquette, recieved a call back
Rush's Bridal...Not Happily Ever After!
by kellratai
From the moment we arrived at Rush's store we were greeted with nothing less than a snobbish disdain that comes with those who see themselves as inconvenienced by our presence. As in a 5th grade classroom, onnce the bride would find a dress that she wished to try on, and she disappeared into a changing room with her friends, the staff of Rush's would gather to mock and laugh at that particular bride. We heard actual statements such as, "I can't believe she keeps trying on dresses like that...she is WAY to fat for that dress!"Or, "What is she even doing here...she OBVIOUSLY can't afford this place. She is wasting a lot of people's time."We watched as the staff picked and chose to whom they would briefly show the most minimum amount of kindness. To some of these young brides the staff was absolutely cruel. We were stunned to see these women not only huddle together to whisper their judgment, they were allowed to voice their immature attitudes to the gentleman in charge.Needless to say this was not the pleasant experience you hope you daughter to have while looking for the dress of her dreams. These people stand to make a LOT of money off these lovely brides who should be having the time of their lives.. Kindness is not in stock. The women who behaved as they did on Saturday should be nothing less than ashamed and embarrassed of their childish behavior. I would not recommend that any bride who wishes to enjoy her experience step foot in this store. The dresses are ridiculously over-priced, often ripped and in depressing display, and common courtesy is sorely lacking. What you fail to realize (staff at Rush's Bridal), is that you do not corner the marked on bridal apparel. It's never good business to chase away customers willing to hand you (sometimes) thousands of dollars for a single dress. You always make an impression. You are always an example to others. The question is..."What will you be an example of?"
Left Alone
by Orchidsforu
I went to Rush's by myself hoping to find some styles that looked good on my body type. My sales girl showed me around and did not help me in and out of the gowns or clip me. I can understand if I had people with me to help me, but I was by myself. After struggling into about 5 gowns I left and made a follow up appointment to come with family, but I decided that if they were not helpful in the trying on part of shopping, they probably wouldnt be helpful after. I cancelled my follow up appointment and decided to take my business elsewhere.
- Cons: Left alone and limited help, no parking
great customer service

I went to Rush's on a whim while I was downtown doing other errands without an appointment. Even though they were busy, they worked me into a dressing room and I tried on several dresses. Even though I didn't find the perfect dress here, I was impressed with the calm atmosphere in the shop and with the competence and professionalism of the staff. I would highly recommend this store to brides who are unsure of what kind of dress they want.
- Pros: great customer service, location
- Cons: kind of expensive
