Hotel was needing a SERIOUS update. All their money was spent on the super small lobby. The rooms were terrible! they could have knocked off $100 off the rate per night and it still wouldn't have been a good deal! Bathrooms had mold in the sink and shower area. Sink had cracks in the fake marble counter. Everything was old and ratty! I've stayed in better Motel6's! Go to the Hilton Minneapolis for the same money and 3x the room!!!

Pros: NONE!

Cons: EVERYTHING is a con. Dont waste your time!

I have stayed at Millennium six times. The rooms may be small but are well appointed. The staff remembers me and I feel welcome. The hotel in conveniently located for my adventures in Minneapolis. I have found exceptional deals w/on line travel web sites.

Pros: convenience, great staff, fun bar

Cons: , maid service improve

I stayed at the Millennium instead of next-door Hyatt based on the recommendations posted here. What a mistake! The Millennium is in an OLD, OLD building which was slapped with a fresh coat of primer on the outside facade. The inside, however was decrepit and quite awful. The services were prompt and decent but the hotel itself needs major work. My sink had cracks and the room was smelly -- years of stale cigarette smoke soaked in the curtains, carpets, sheets, etc. This is one of the worst place I've ever stayed in. It was expensive too. I have stayed at nicer hotels in San Diego and Boston for less.

Cons: Smelly, Old (not good)

This is a perfect place to stay during the Christmas season! We chose a package which included a $25 credit which could be used either for room service or at "Nic's on Nicollet". Of course, we tried both! Our candlelight Dinner at "Nic's" was quiet and romantic with a window table which gave us just a glimpse of the Hollidazzle Parade! The food was superb and the service fantastic! Our room was on the 12th floor facing Nicollet and we had a wonderful skyline view! The only problem we encountered was one involving the pay-per-view movie which we selected and when we called the front desk they sent someone up immediately to fix it. When they found they were unable, they promptly offered to credit our bill for the charge. Overall a wonderful place to stay and a great value!

Pros: Downtown, Parking Ramp, Packages Available

Cons: Downtown Traffic

This is basically a nice hotel. I would give it three stars. However, be warned, the workout room is PATHETIC! Their standard room is smaller than, say, over at the Hilton but their housekeeping staff is very good. They're on the skywalk system, but waaaay down at the south end. It's a hike to other parts of the skywalk, still, it's better than being on the street during a thunderstorm! I LOVE that they have free internet ports in the Martini lounge. I was able to access my work e-mail everynight. (But on Fridays get there early and bring your own patch cable.)

Pros: On Skywalk, Good Housekeeping, Next to Convent.Ctr

Cons: Smaller Rooms

I have a wonderful stay at the Millennium Hotel. We were there for Jazz night on Thursday. The martitis and the music were wonderful!
