Really strong cocktails

I went here with some friends for some apps and a few cocktails, I had 3 'Fog-Cutters" (which I had never had before) I was literally drunk as a skunk! they hit me so fast, I didnt think that this place would make such strong drinks!! wow.. overall it was a good night.

• Pros: Get drunk
• Cons: Loud.. too small

Rude on the phone

I recently called Red Dragon for an order to go. The bartender who answered my call was horribly rude and told me to hurry up because she did not have any time to talk to me because she was too busy. I have had their food before, which is decent but the service terrible.

great drinks, atmosphere, service

This place rocks -- great neighborhood hangout, great drinks, friendly staff, large space. We showed up as a large group (about 40 of us) and were treated very well -- the staff accommodated us right away. This is the place to be on Lyndale and Franklin if you want to go out and have fun, whether you're with a large group or small.

not only the best cocktail in the twin cities but thry there food it rocks!

Uptown rockers unite! this place simply kickass. I never tried there food until like 2 years ago and now i'm hooked. You would never know until you try it! All the servers there kickass and the bar keep is excellent as well, be patient says confusius!! Good things take time. I see alot of people who get winey about how it takes a few minutes to get a drink...just simma down..take a pill or something>?>? k special shouts to Sandy Kari and Pat

Lets Get Drunk.

This place is great for a happy hour. The mixed drinks will get you messed up. The food is pretty good as well. It is recomended you have some after a few drinks.

For those people that need Redbull to do a shot of Jag are just pu$$ies. If you need a shot like that I think they serve them at an 18 and up club downtown.

Ummm...

Good selection on the juke box, but they don't have Red BuII or anything close, which makes it impossible for them to make a Jaeg Bomb! I actually walked across the street to Super America and bought my own Red BuII so that they could make the shot. Lame!

great atmosphere, rude service.

The big bowl-of-punch is one-of-a-kind, but beware: don't try to order from the bar, even if you're server takes 2 hours to get to your table, or you'll be booted out.

It's always 1952 at the Red Dragon, where the decor is dandy but the liquor is quicker.

What was probably a popular first date spot when it opened is know part of the hipster cachet: Chinese food meshed with faded red pagoda-like overhangs. The traditional menu is just here to washes down the extremely potent old school drinks. Mai Tais, Singapore Slings, Fog Cutters, Pink Squirrels--they're all here, just waiting to take you back to the age of Sputnik and make you beg for mercy.

had a great time

Went here the first time the other night. It was great! Get one of the specialty drinks, one of them will and you might not be able to drive home. Appetizers were great and everything is so cheap. I loved it.
