Fun, Professional, Pricey
by hanbancocopan
I went to get transverse lobe piercings (both ears). I had never been to Sabrina's before and didn't feel overwhelmingly welcomed or anything, but the lady that I talked to at the desk was very sweet and helpful. She made sure to explain briefly what jewelry options I'd have and made me feel comfortable prior to meeting the piercer (Jake). Jake was wonderful and super clean and professional. He made sure to ensure me of his experience (and proved it with the amazing accuracy of the job) and answered all my random questions. He was great with working with me and my first piercing and everything went smoothly. He explained aftercare and such without my needing to ask, which was good (he also gave me his business card with my jewelry gauge size, date and his hours). The cost was what I expected, though I still don't know exactly how much the jewelry was (I could do the math). Overall, I had a very comfortable and fun experience with Jake and Saint Sabrina's.
- Pros: Professional piercer, clean, fun atmosphere, lots of jewelry
- Cons: Pretty expensive (not bad)
Stay Away from St Sabrinas
by kistenlala88
I was recommended here by the concierge of the W Hotel. When I walked in I was ever so impressed. Very clean and comfortable. I wanted to get a tattoo. The word "love" on my wrist. I was quoted $175 which I thought was a little steep, I figured it's a lifetime investment so I'll go for it. They got me in within a half hour of waiting so I was happy. The artist brought me to his room and within 15 minutes he was done. I took the bandage off the next day and to my surprise it was not a quality job. It's been 3 weeks and it looks like an amateur did it. The lines are shaky, The ink is fading, and everyone thinks it reads "Lave." I am very disappointed in their work and I don't recommend going to this place. I should have looked at their portfolio first but I was caught up in how "nice" the place looked. I have an appointment to get my tattoo laser removed. Save yourself from the heartache and embarrassment. STAY AWAY from Saint Sabrinas!
- Pros: Looks Nice
- Cons: Horrible Work
Quality Work with Great Service!
by KaTe86
At first I was a little hesitant to step back into Saint Sabrinas after a bad experience 4 years ago. I got a tattoo from an artist that hated life and their job. Since then I started going to a Leviticus and worked with an artist (Kyle) who unfortunately disappeared a few months ago. I was now without a tattoo artist that I trusted and felt comfortable with. Being a hair stylist I notice peoples tattoos all the time. Ironically there were a lot of people that were telling me to go check out this new guy they have at Saint Sabrinas. Some Hawaiian artist named Jon Boy. I met Jon Boy and instantly we had a connection! He loved the tattoos I had and was into the same traditional style tattooing! Jon Boy really loves what he does and I highly recommend him! My tattoo is perfect and not a day goes by I don't get complimented!
- Pros: Clean, Affordable and Adorable
- Cons: No Parking Lot
Excellent work and excellent service

I have been a customer of St. Sabrina's for several years now. I've had a couple of piercings done there, but most of my experience has been with tattoos. I have had work done by Jeremy, Bleach and Mike and I have been very happy with all my tattoos, whether they have been small and simple or larger and more-involved pieces.
In reading some other reviews, I'm surprised to hear of complaints about the customer service. Any time I've gone in (and it's been quite a few), whoever has been working the counter has helped me very quickly and has always been very friendly when doing it.
There was one time I had to wait longer than I really would have liked, but I didn't have an appointment and there were others already ahead of me.
Overall I like going to St. Sabrina's and I will keep going back.
- Pros: Quality of work, friendliness, knowledge
- Cons: Sometimes the wait
Clueless on Customer Service
by ferravv
The only thing I would go to Saint Sabrina’s for is a Tattoo, but don’t expect to be helped by the shop girls. I’m very disappointed in the lack of Customer Service skills the desk help and piercers posses. I witnessed the desk help give ‘fake time’ after ‘fake time’ to numerous people that came in to be pierced or have piercings removed. If the desk help were honest with customer’s about how long they will have to wait and didn’t overbook the piercers, people would be so irritated when they finally are helped. In my case – if they would have listened to me up front, I wouldn’t have even had to wait the 1 and 25 minutes I had to wait (after being told it would be 20-40 minutes) they could have retained me as a customer. In the end – I waited for nothing because the piercer wouldn’t do my piercing. Had the desk help listened while I filled out my paperwork, they could have had the piercer take a look and tell me if he thought it was an option or not. Not only was the piercer cocky – he didn’t seem like he had a clue. He didn’t listen to anything I said – he had already made up his mind. When the 'manager' stepped in to help, she immediately said the piercer was right without listening to any of my complaints. Then they sent me away with a $10 coupon – anyone want it? Way to try to pay people off to keep them happy. Unless I can apply it to my next tattoo, I won’t be using it! Until they have some positive turnover with their front desk staff and they hire a competent piercer, I won’t be going back or referring anyone there for a piercing.
- Pros: Tattoo Artists are great!
- Cons: Desk Help and Piercers are clueless
Rude
by CSMobileUser
Before deciding where to get my tattoo, I went online and researced many artists. One that I found to be especially talented was bleach. So I brought my tattoo design, which was a simple phrase in Latin. When I went in to the actual parlor, I was astounded at how rude the woman at the service counter. She told me it would cost nearly twice of what another place cost me. However, was I was eager to get tattooed by this paticular artist, so I tried to get over it. When I then asked if I could make an appointment with bleach, the lady told me that "um, bleach doesn't tattoo hips." l was astounded because she was honestly trying to make me feel stupid. Not to mention I don't understand the reasoning behind it, but whatever. What suprised me the most was that the lady then also says to me with my sketch of words in Latin, "what does this even mean?" I then proceeded to leave the store. I wouldn't recommend this place, great artists, bad service, rude people. You are paying nearly twice the value to be treated like an idiot. But then again, where else would the money for the décor and plasmas come from?
Pierced Here, Returning for Tattoo
by jl4c
A bit over a year ago now, I went in to get my nose ring done. I was nervous because I don't fit the "punk rock" standard and I hate putting up with places that shun you because you don't fit their stereotype.
However, all of my anxiousness was shattered as soon as I walked in. Though the staff definitely fit the punk stereotype appearance-wise, they were friendly and very thorough in explaining what I needed to do. My piercer was Jamie (who's no longer there, unfortunately) and was very friendly and good at explaining what he was doing while he was doing it. My wait was short and I was hugely pleased.
I went back a number of months later to get the properly-sized ring and had the same experience with friendliness and professionalism.
My last tattoo had been done at a different location before my piercing and I was convinced I would be going back to that original location. Because of my great experiences with Saint Sabrina's, though, I'm definitely planning to go back for all my tattoos.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in getting a tattoo or piercing.
- Pros: clean & friendly, great piercing, great environment
- Cons: parking
Over priced and under serviced
by wargum
Unlike many of the other reviewers, I found the counter staff to be friendly and helpful. I scheduled an appointment for the next day and left my deposit with a tentative price range of $80-100 for a simple block letter word on my wrist.
By the time I got to my appointment, the cost was $120 for something I am sure would have been another shop's $60 minimum rate. I felt a little ripped off but had my mind set on a tattoo that day so I sucked it up. I also talked him (Bleach) into touching up another black word tattoo. If he had not done that for me, I would have completely resented the fee.
Bleach gave me no aftercare instructions without my prompting, and no courteous reminder to come in for a touch up if his work was uneven. I will not go back!
pros-clean, red lollipops like at the doctor's office, comfortable wait area.
cons-arrogant artist, little in way of service, at least 40% mark up from what I would get at Uptown Tattoo.
Don't Waste Your Time
by michaelb12345
We went in and we made to wait for more than 2 hours, after being told it would be 15 minutes. When we finally complained, they were like oh, you're next.
Very pricey, small selection.
Just don't seem that concerned. We left with the feeling that if you don't have the right "look" to them, they won't bother with you.
- Pros: They have a store
- Cons: They charge you for it.
Fantastic Jewelry. Too bad Jamie is gone, but theyre still great
by kefeldman
Saint Sabrina's has been my choice for piercings since my first time. I had my septum done in Madison, WI and a Madison (horizontal bar at bottom of neck) piercing also. I walked in to get my septum stretched by Jamie Clark, who now works in Albuquerque. Jamie noted that I might need to change the bar size in my Madison. I ended up going back to Jamie because he made me comfortable and he's extremely goodlooking. He did 12 piercings on me, all surface piercings but 1. Unfortunately, Minneapolis no longer has him, but I would still recommend St. Sabrina's. They have a HUGE jewelry selection, including lots of organics. I've never had any problems with the front desk and I go in there a lot. I recommend NATE for your piercing needs. He is fun, wants to make his clients feel comfortable, and knows his stuff. All of the piercers are members of the Association of Professional Piercers which makes sure the piercers are knowledgeable. I know Jesika, Jamie also, has taught classes. If you're a women getting a genital piercing, Jesika is well trained in that. If you're a man getting a genital piercing, go to Nate. Derek is also extremely well trained and professional. Go here, for sure. As for tattoos, I have one done by Mike the Face, and it is good. good ink and doesn't take forever. I've had tattoo artists take FOREVER. The front desk knows a lot about jewelry and what will work, as well as what will not.
- Pros: APP members, Clean, Lots of Jewelry, Autoclave, Sterile, front desk knows jewelry too
- Cons: no Jamie
