Specializing in indie, jazz, punk and vinyl, this hip little record store on Nicollet in the Kingfield neighborhood is everything a record store should be: It's a haven for music geeks that offers a cure for every music obsession. Along with the constant sound of music overhead to prick up your ears, there's the familiar click-clack of CDs being furiously browsed through at record speed. There's chatter about an out-of-print Big Star recording. There's the dude who stops in every week looking for a used box set of some obscure jazz session. And there's the old-fashioned die-hard music fan who stop in to take it all in, turning the music store into a neighborhood gem that will hopefully never wind up in the dustins of history.
