Good service. Although had been there years before, was still a little confusing. Price is okay, had just missed the dinner special time frame. Cool to pick your own ingredients and have them prepared in front of you. Still not sure what the appetizers that were set in front of us were...

I visit Khan's about once every 3 or 4 weeks over the last several years! I love it, especially for lunch! Try to get there before noon or be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes on a Thursday or Friday. Monday - Wednesday you can usually get right in. They have a Great selection of fresh vegetables and meats, which you pile up in a bowl, top it with noodles to hold the stack together and then add your sauces. (You can build up your pile by putting the zucchini and green pepper sticks around the edge to create a larger 'basket' to hold your other veggies). Take it over the the cooks, tell them you want to have Peanuts added. Watch them cook your meal on a Hot Wok. Toss a dollar or two in the Tip basket and ring the gong (don't strike it too hard or you might scare the skin off other customers!) The gong at Roseville is about 3 times larger (and much deeper ring) than the one at Richfield.

Fun dining, Great tasty food, and a real dining experience! I recommend you give Khan's a try!

  • Pros: Ambience, Variety of Vegetables, Great Asian Food, Buffet (one trip at lunchtime)!
  • Cons: Parking, because they are so popular!

Eatting at Kahns is for good company with good company as my grandmother always told me.

It is the best eating you will do for the money spent and you get your moneys worth.

I've been going to all of the various Khans restaurants throughout the twin cities and most of the time they are satisfactory. Except for some reason this Richfield location isn't as good as the others. It may be because of the servers, some of them don't speak very good English at all and they seem to have too many tables to give you the attention you need. The restaurant always seems to be busy, but for some reason the appetizers are cold from time to time, especially the chicken wings. The food is good, but I like the other restaurants better.

My advice, make sure you get one of the non middle aged asian servers, you'll get better service with anyone else. Other wise be prepared to have trouble understanding what they're saying and not get the service you should have.

  • Pros: Food
  • Cons: Service

In California you can get real good Mongolian BBQ. This one is not bad in MN. Food is good. I really liked the appetizer. Sweet and sour sauce was awesome. Only thing I did not enjoy was the waitress did not speak very clear English. We could not understand a word she said. But another waiter was nice enough to tell us about how the buffet line works. Anyway, good food. Terrible service. I mean, we had to ask for a soda and the lady would come back with a beer. We felt bad for her, so we left little bit tip as a charity.

  • Pros: Good BBQ in midwest
  • Cons: Terrible service, would not understand english.

I live out of town, and on trips to the twin cities, a visit to this restaurant is usually on the agenda. The price can't be beat (about $13 for all-you-can-eat dinner) and the food is great. You can choose from a large buffet of ingredients and never have to worry about eating something you're not going to like. Since it's all-you-can-eat, you can experiment a little with the spices at the end of the buffet line. Many, if not most, of the ingredients on the buffet are healthy, which is nice to have when you know you're about to stuff yourself silly. Their steamed sesame dumplings are reason enough to eat here (OK, they're probably not all that healthy). Some things to try: their Jasmine tea is perfect, and they've also got Fuki plum wine and Tsingtao beer, which everyone should try at least once. The only downside is that if you go later in the evening on a weekend, be prepared for a wait if you didn't make reservations.

  • Pros: Food, price, healthy choices
  • Cons: Wait time

In Short
Grab a plate and belly up to the meat-and-veggie bar. Pile your plate with raw chicken, turkey, beef, lamb, pork, the veggies of your choosing and noodles. A staff member will help you select the proper combination of 10 sauces to get the fire and spice level you prefer. The resulting stir-fry is a tasty treat, and since you chose your own ingredients, there's no bamboo plate-filler to pick around.

This is one of the best resaurants if you're hungry. the food is very good adn you can eat just about anything. Get the buffet and your meal is fully customizable. you can have anything because there is no set menu. when you choose your sauses at the end of the line, try and follow the recommendations on the overhead board. then you wont worry about burning your tongue off. The chef who cook your food are really cool to. This is my favorite and is definetly worth a shot.

  • Pros: buffet, food, appitizers
  • Cons: sometimes lines, a bit pricey

If you praise yourself on your eating ability, this is the place for you. The meals are fantastic and you can "have it your way". If it's your first time at lunch, watch someone who looks like they've been there often and you'll quickly learn how to pack 5 pounds of food into an ordinary sized bowl. As it is a buffet, unfortunately there's nothing to be taken home and that's the only downside. My favorite resturant. Can't recommend it enough, uless you've got a small stomach.

  • Pros: quality, quantity, friendly service
  • Cons: soup, price?
