Had extensions - great. Never received products to maintain extensions (ordered myself over the internet). Called to inquire about the products promised to send me as I wanted to make sure that I ordered the correct products (I have hard water which is not good for extensions). They informed me that I had already received them. I have recently called to leave a message for another appointment to obtain extensions and left my home and work number - it has been almost 2 weeks and still no call back!!!

I've been getting my haircut and colored at Spalon Montage since I was in high school. I am now a college graduate with my first job and I still travel back to Woodbury to get my hair done. Brynn always does a great job and is super friendly. I would highly suggest her for hair cuts or colors.

guess what... if you can't afford to have people answer the phone that is a bad sign. How about a discount for being forced to listen to your ads... how about i gave up in disgust pressing all the diffeent sales options and hung up. A haircut (a good haircut) is just not that hard to find. I am sure if they could find a way to export their salon factory to china/india they would quickly do so. Warning... a call center phone experience should be your first warning... stay away.

Pros: none that outweigh the initial phone experience

Cons: how about everything

I love this salon! I highly recommed Natalia. She knows the lastest trends, has the best personality and gave me the best haircut and color that I have ever received. I get compliments everywhere I go.

I guess I feel lucky after reading the other reviews. I have been getting my hair done there in Woodbury for awhile and love my sylist (Kelcee)! They do have some "young pups" working there so I could see where people get someone less experienced. You need to go to the more mature experienced sylists. They know what they are doing. Just call and ask for a sylist that has been there for awhile, talk with the receptionist...that's what I did years ago and they didn't let me down. Now for the pedicures and stuff.....I've been pretty lucky too. Once again YOU need to ask for the experienced person, do your homework, talk with the other clients, whatever. Evey salon has "new people" so you just have to be careful. I don't want a newbee doing my stuff. These things are too expensive to just get anyone!! Communication is the key at this place.

Pros: kind employees, treated with respect, professional

Cons: a bit spendy

I will never return to Spalon Montage. After a very vauge consultaiton and fast service, I had the worst cut and color by one of the TOP stylist. When I told her it wasn't what I wanted, she just ignored me and said she had a a client waiting and if i still didn't like it I could come back tomorrow. I waited and tried to come back and she had no time until 3 weeks from then! I called her voicemail and she never returned my call. I am not the only person to have gone there and felt this way. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Pros: friendly front

Cons: everything else

The stylists here are mediocre and don't think outside the box and the cost vs. skill level is way too high. My hair was overtexturized and colored way too dark. The atmosphere is nice but once you get in the chair, you might as well have gone to Regis and saved some bucks.

Pros: Ambience, Location

Cons: Scheduling, Talent, Creativity

I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. I was treated poorly in a very expensive way and ended up with a loss of hair. Buyer beware. What a waste.

Pros: parking

Cons: unprofessional

this was the worst spa i had ever been to. The customer service was not good at all, the staff was overall not very friendly and the lines there were unbeleivable. The service are not worth the money. I have been to many other salons that were less expensive and the service was ten times better. I would and have told people that I would highly recommend not going to this salon. Very bad impression!!!!!

Pros: non

This is a letter I sent to them and received no reply. To whom it may concern, Last July I was referred to Cameron at the Edina Spalon by Corey Foley of KDWB radio station. I wanted to find out about Great length extensions. This is the worst salon experience ever. Unprofessional, insensitive. It is unfortunate that a client spends 2400 dollars in less than 6 months and is treated so disposable. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. I did not deserve this treatment from a well known establishment. I feel if the first stylist would of returned my call (something simple). I would of never had the expense or the inconveince and would have been able to enjoy my purchase. Not to mention I would still have my hair. (This is noticeable and will take a long time to grow out).
