constantly changing appointments

my mother and i have gone for an annual spa day while i am in town visiting for the past few years. each time something does not go as planned. generally speaking, we ask for specific individuals for planned treatments and invariably one or more of those people don't end up performing the service. each time we express our disappointment and sometimes there is compensation. i know that changes happen, but one would think that scheduling knows this when calling to confirm the appointment. it would be nice if they asked rather than told us when we arrive.

• Pros: nice environment
• Cons: stressful visit because things didn't go as planned

Such A Relaxing Atmosphere!

Spalon Montage in Woodbury, MN is such a great way to relax and get away from the 9to5 in Woodbury. It's hustle and bustle outside, but, warm and relaxing on the inside.

The staff is very professional and make you feel like your on a vacation. I highly recommend scheduling a girl's day out at Spalon Montage!

Confusing

I went in for the first time with my daughter to have both our hair done. I knew what I wanted and my daughter and I discussed for her. By the time it was done the girl that did her hair had done totally something then what we wanted. half the color for the full color price. The person I had did not talk much and also I was swapped in the middle of my appointment and had someone else finish me. that was probably the best part because she had a personality and was very kind. All in All I would never go back..

• Cons: Pricing changes

Extrodinary stylists

I have been frequenting salons/spas for over 15 years..and

Everyone at Spalon Montage in Woodbury go out of the way to make sure everything I ever have done there is above and beyond my expectations. Ronnie in nails is excellent; Angel, Jessica, Deanna are just a few of the hair stylists there that always get my color right; Emeigh in massage is so relaxing and knows just where to find my kinks...and Becky always waxes my brows just the right way to frame my face. I recommend everyone I know to see any of the above technicians...they will take care of you!

• Cons: Very busy salon, sometimes difficult to get into to...

Poor-Poor-Poor

Had extensions - great. Never received products to maintain extensions (ordered myself over the internet). Called to inquire about the products promised to send me as I wanted to make sure that I ordered the correct products (I have hard water which is not good for extensions). They informed me that I had already received them. I have recently called to leave a message for another appointment to obtain extensions and left my home and work number - it has been almost 2 weeks and still no call back!!!

Expensive, but worth it!

I've been getting my haircut and colored at Spalon Montage since I was in high school. I am now a college graduate with my first job and I still travel back to Woodbury to get my hair done. Brynn always does a great job and is super friendly. I would highly suggest her for hair cuts or colors.

call center+advertising... just to get a haircut! You gotta be kidding me

guess what... if you can't afford to have people answer the phone that is a bad sign. How about a discount for being forced to listen to your ads... how about i gave up in disgust pressing all the diffeent sales options and hung up. A haircut (a good haircut) is just not that hard to find.

I am sure if they could find a way to export their salon factory to china/india they would quickly do so. Warning... a call center phone experience should be your first warning... stay away.

Best Haircut and Color I have ever had!!!

I love this salon! I highly recommed Natalia. She knows the lastest trends, has the best personality and gave me the best haircut and color that I have ever received. I get compliments everywhere I go.

Guess I'm lucky...

I guess I feel lucky after reading the other reviews. I have been getting my hair done there in Woodbury for awhile and love my sylist (Kelcee)! They do have some "young pups" working there so I could see where people get someone less experienced. You need to go to the more mature experienced sylists. They know what they are doing. Just call and ask for a sylist that has been there for awhile, talk with the receptionist...that's what I did years ago and they didn't let me down. Now for the pedicures and stuff.....I've been pretty lucky too. Once again YOU need to ask for the experienced person, do your homework, talk with the other clients, whatever. Evey salon has "new people" so you just have to be careful. I don't want a newbee doing my stuff. These things are too expensive to just get anyone!! Communication is the key at this place.

• Cons: a bit spendy
