not worth the money
by jacobsen63
on a Sunday paying full dinner price. the main meat like the roast beef was like leather. I took one bite and toss it out and when i went back to try turkey it was very dry and cold looking and most everything else i ate was old and we told the wait staff and she made a joke and said not to eat the muffins they were old and dry that day too! they are charging more for the dinner then lunch but all the things they offered were uneatable. they need to put out some fresh food and check it so they are not serving old tasteless food
- Pros: they have lots of kind
- Cons: lots of things where very cold
Self-service restaurant satisfies budget-conscious families with all-you-can-eat, all-American home-style cooking.

In Short
A strip-mall mainstay throughout U.S. suburbs, this buffet-style restaurant caters to ravenous families who pay a flat per-head fee for all the comfort food they can chow down. Serving stations present everything from fried chicken to shrimp scampi, macaroni and cheese to steamed veggies. A do-it-yourself dessert bar allows diners to make their own sugary indulgence from a supply of brownies and cakes, syrupy toppings and multiple flavors of soft-serve ice cream.
Good 'Ol OCB
by mmmmm__food
For the money, OCB is great, from salad, pasta, dinner and desserts, you have an array to choose from. As far as Fridley is concerned, it used to be are #1 choice for all holiday get togethers. (Mom's too lazy to cook) But holiday's are always overcrowded, long lines and you feel rushed.
On regular days Fridley has a large selection, but it never changes. I recommend the new Coon Rapids location. There selection is always fresh, always changing, the atmosphere is cozy. Just stay away from this one on the holidays. It's half the size of the others and can't handle all the guests.
One trick is to show up 15-25 minutes before lunch, then you can have 15 minutes of breakfast and when you go for your second plate, you also get lunch as well.
- Pros: Price, Selection, all you can eat
- Cons: Crowded, food tastes bland at times
