Top Steakhouses

  1. Caspers Cherokee Sirloin Room

886 Smith Ave S, West St. Paul, MN
Just outside the St. Paul border is this affordable gem. The steaks compare to its downtown brethren, but the prices are about half as much. Great service and big portions are the highlight.

  2. Morton's - The Steakhouse

    555 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN
During the week power brokers wheel and deal here and on weekends the party crowd checks in to devour awesome steaks and great side dishes. Keep a look out for local celebrities.

  3. Ruth's Chris Steak House

    920 2nd Avenue S Ste 100, Minneapolis, MN
This upscale chain is a favorite of many locals. The steaks, while pricey, are some of the area's best. To top it off the service is first-class even if you have to take out a second mortgage to pay for your meal.

  4. Murray's

26 S Sixth St, Minneapolis, MN
This Minneapolis institution serves as a time machine for many. The decor is something out of a gangster movie and the waitresses are friendly and knowledgeable. The silver butter knife steak is something every local should try before they die.

  5. TreVina

200 N. Concord Exchange, South Saint Paul, MN
Billed as an Italian Steakhouse, this gem is popular for its steaks that come fresh from the nearby stockyards. Served on a small butcher block with garlic mashed spuds these steaks, sold by the ounce, are a big hit.

  6. Best Steak House - White Bear Avenue

1676 White Bear Ave N, St Paul, MN
If you think your budget can't afford a good steak, think again. While not on the same ballpark in terms of ambiance, this noisy place serves up good steaks with traditional sides like baked potatoes and fries.

  7. PorterHouse Steaks and Seafood

235 Little Canada Rd E, Little Canada, MN
Affordable, busy and popular are just a few words to describe this spot. The prices are right for steak dinners that are just as good as those at a more trendy address.
